Wuzhen, originally named Wudun, is located in Tongxiang City, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, China, in the heart of the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai 'Golden Triangle' and the Hangzhou-Jiaxing-Huzhou Plain. With over 7,000 years of civilization and a history of establishment dating back 1,300 years, it is a typical ancient water town in Southern China. Since 2013, Wuzhen has hosted the Wuzhen Theatre Festival, and since 2014, it has become the permanent venue for the World Internet Conference.

运营乌镇的人绝对是个天才。当初乌镇还不出名的时候，乌镇就通过投资电视剧《似水年华》打开局面，到处找电视台免费让他们放电视剧。不像丽江街上大大小小的酒吧歌舞厅，乌镇将这些东西都放在了周边，防止它们打扰到乌镇的安宁。😆😆😆😆

You MUST. These towns are parts of ancient culture and history. Besides they are absolutely gorgeous. I havebeen to several, this one, I think , is near Shanghai.
it's still beautiful and the atmosphere makes you feel... cool too...

懐かしく見ました。１６年ほど前中国駐在勤務でしたので、初めて行った時の印象は古い中国のにおいがあり、住人がまだ住んでいました。その２年後にも行きましたが、観光ブームで村はすっかり様変わりしていたのを覚えています。中国の古い文化の保全と観光ビジネスがうまく融合していませんね。世界遺産である麗江にはこれが世界遺産とがっかりしたことを覚えています。
