Excellent video, James! I can one hundred percent relate. I do the same thing, and have been for months now! I can now hand feed them, pet them and lie down with them. I had the unforgettable experience of having my favourite, Jaxie, breastfeed her babies right in front of me! I sat motionless in tears as I watched. I'll never forget it and we'll be pals forever. It's really rewarding to give these cute little critters a vacation from stress. I find they do the same for me too. Keep up your great work and say hi to your little pal(s) for me. Sub'd. 🙂

Thanks for your comment. Your connection to your wild rabbits is awesome and I love the fact that you've been able to pet them and lie down with them! Being a part of nature up close and personal like that is a special gift that not many people experience - and it definitely helps relieve stress. Glad you got the chance to experience it. I'm still working on getting my "pet" rabbit comfortable enough with me so that, one day, I can give her head a rub.

@@JamesBiggs-Kayaker Have you ever tried lying down during your feeding sessions? I found this really helped a lot, and gives your pal a better eye to eye view with you and I think they feel less in danger when you're down low. My Jaxie eats literally a foot from my face and sometimes she'll just stare away at my ugly mug for a long time. Once, I saw her let out a huge yawn - it was amazing, I could see all her teeth and the close up view was great. I just think that spending time with them repeatedly is the best thing. I've been with mine now for about 8 months or so. How long has your pal known you? Do they have a name? 🙂

thank you, was worried no one here had a brain But yes, it's nice that you're trying to take care of the rabbit. But bread lacks nutrition for them and can cause gut blockage and severe sickness in the worst case. Rabbits eat grass, hay, leafy greens, sometimes fruit (ideally dried). Look up what they can and can't eat, it's one Google search away. It's the most basic level of care you could take before caring for any animal.

Thanks for the info - I checked and found some foods they can eat and will be feeding them those (mostly fruit and greens) going forward.

Yes, someone else also reached out to let me know. I've stopped feeding them bread and am sticking with leafy greens and some fruit. Thanks for reaching out and for caring about our furry friends.

Hi there. This is cottontail rabbit which are very common in our area. Hares are larger than rabbits and have longer ears and hind legs. Hope that helps.

If you really want to make your rabbit go crazy give hymn pieces of banana you know what you you don't even have to peel it they go out of their minds
