I think the league generally knows by now you've got your hands full when you're lining up Mo. And to think, he's only going to get stronger in the next few years.

All announcers/homers take note. The way Mickey Redmond does it is the way to be. Pro-Wings but also states the actual gameplay (later in the game he gave Mcewan props for beating Smith in a fight)

Exactly. I also remember years ago the Wings were playing the Rangers i believe. And a Rangers player got a unsportsmanlike penalty for pointing at the score board in a mocking way to one of the wings players ( i forget who it was) whilst the Wings were losing like 5-3 or something. Mickey stood up for the Rangers player and said something to the effect of "the league is becoming so soft, that should not be a penalty". He calls it like it is.

It's hard to tell. It looks like he hit his chest then followed through the head.... but I'm not sure. That might've been just straight to the head. I watched it over and over at different speeds. It looks like it might've been all head. But it's hard to tell. Either way, even it was dirty, you have to be strong to be able to throw a reverse it. Later in the game, he did get laid out himself though.

  • @chettajohnson5261

He wasn't throwing the hit. Willman chose to try to check his head into Seider's shoulder (which, why?)

@@chettajohnson5261 That's not what happened. He wasn't expecting to have a shoulder lowered on him at all. Seider lowered him shoulder into his head. Like I said. From the angle they have, it's hard to tell. But it looked like a dirty hit. But, they're both okay so I guess it doesn't matter.

@@ColeAltonen I watched it a million times. There's no way to tell because there's no angle that would show whether it was head or chest then head. Either way, I'm not calling for a suspension or anything. I think the NHL has become pussified with the head hitting rules. Sure, if you are head hunting, call it. But if you happen to go through a guy (like this) and hit his head, there shouldn't be a call.
