Morissette picked up her first microphone when she was 3 years old. She has been taking part in singing competitions since she was 9. She has been a professional singer since she was 14. And she was 21 at that Wishbus performance and is 25 today. She is now in her 12th year as a pro and is still getting better!

The fact that some Filipino doesn't even have a vocal coach to teach them sing, and yet they can belt really high while sitting?! Like what even I as a Filipino is shooked too

Quite simply,Morissette is the best of the best live female vocalist i have truly witnessed ,in five decades of loving my music,she can litterally sing any genre of song,and send chill's through ones body,i have followed her for over three year's now,and have not once felt a little bit of disappointment in her performance honestly,she truly defines that vastly over used word superstar,she not a superstar she a supergift to the world from above,as her ability too affect ones emotion's is truly mystifying indeed.and i born and bred in Scotland where i have lived all my life,so no Philippines connection too her,i just a true lover of music,and as stated she is the best of the best i have ever heard,and believe me i love all the great divas past and present.great reaction guys well done,enjoy your Morissette Journey,which i have no doubts what so ever you will.

If you think this is great, you should listen to her acapella version of the same song with the vocal group 3rd Avenue. THAT was probably the best this song is ever going to be sang. Jazzed up a bit and made bouncy by the incredible arrangement ot Adonis Tabanda, her long-time musical director, and still able to give a hauntingly poignant performance. That was Mori, well-rested, healthy...and it's her birthday! Enjoyable review, man, as always.

She is not just this generation's best singer, she is the total package. You should react to her performance on ASAP(a Sunday afternoon program in the Philippines) where she sang "Run The Show". You will see and hear her dancing and rapping skills. Also on the same show, she performed "Run To You" by Whitney Houston. You will hear one of her best squeak(vocal break) on the last part of her performance.
