I'm Korean who just got to learn about this clip and Morrisette. She is an amazing singer - i would even dare to say her rendition is more dramatic and emotional than the original - but note that the original singer (Big Mama) is also well known to be one of the best singers in Korea. I'm really impressed even though I knew that the Philippines are filled with amazing singers. I'm now a big fan of hers!

She's actually a really shy person. When she's being interviewed in a variety show when she's a bit younger and her talent isn't that quite recognized yet, she's the most quiet one, and she won't speak unless she's talked to. She's also so polite lol the host was a great, he brought out the funny side of Morissette and made her get along with the other singers on the segment.

you can notice her voice isn't in the best condition, but she's still sooooo good! she can sing, she can rap, she's a natural performer, and she's even beautiful! I'm mad I just found about her a few days ago. She came to korea to perform...and I didn't even know! Hope I have a chance to go to her concert someday

Yeah, her voice definitely was not in the best condition here since when this was filmed, she was actually sick but still managed to sing in front of everyone. I think her raspy voice (due to her being sick here) made this song very emotional and painful to listen. Could literally feel her soul coming out of this

The raspiness of her voice is her vocal style depending on what song. Morissette’s tone is actually alto-lyric soprano meaning she can switch tone from deep huge thick tone to high lyric soprano tone the soft light high tone. Those vocal breaks are just additives. She can also sing without those and she has video performances without it. Most people like it tho as it adds character and not a cookie cutter performance.

The vocal squakes, raspiness, slight growls, emotions, vocal power etc. Name it all she have it.....We are proud of you Filipinos and whole Asia and even the whole wide universe!

She is so confident and can hold thousands of audience in a very big stage.she really filled the stage with confidence with her a-1 performance.

Why worry about her vocal condition? She sounds 100x better in this year's performance than last year. Why does everyone worry about her voice when the raspy, husky, edgy tone makes her 1000x more soulful and emotional?? If your tone is too clean, it gets to be a little boring.

@@katniss4450 well we are worried that she might lose her gift if she does not have enough time to recover thats y everyone is worried and wants her to rest a bit plus the girl deserves some time off since she has been touring non stop at the time this concert occured
