Huge difference. I need to find another deal for my current GMC. Stock is terrible, LED bulbs aren't much better. The Morimotos were awesome.

Think the DRL wire is for the C ring to light up a brighter white then the marker mode where the C ring is a bit dimmer. The OEM headlights use the bottom strip as a DRL at 100% brightness and 50% when the marker or headlights are on. Try and see if they come on brighter when in gear vs when marker or headlights are on, they might not even come on if your truck didn’t come standard with DRL, in Canada we have to have DRL so that’s how it would function for us, bottom strip DRL and top and bottom at 50% when marker or headlight is on. Awesome video though, looks stunning

I'll have to check it out and see if there is a difference between day and night mode. My truck came stock with DRLs. I think it's required here in the US as well, I could be wrong. Thanks for checking out the video.

They are a huge upgrade over the stock headlights and looks great I agree. I get complimented on the truck often as well.

You can adjust the vertical pattern as well these. I just installed mine. And I really have to adjust them lol

@@jazzlejohnson5364 I had some switchbacks in the oem housing. So just had to cut those off and it was all good.

Xb headlights are TOOOOO GOOD. I normally don’t comment on anything and didn’t even watch the video no disrespect. I have a 2016 and got the XB headlights. I wouldn’t recommend. I recorded the height and direction of the stock headlight beam prior to swap. I left them how they came from morimoto and everyone was flashing me with high beams because they think they’re my brights (they’re unhappy when i turn on my brights which also turns on my lightbar) for a while i flashed them back but its not really their fault. I figured they must be set too high or left or something but they were fairly close to stock and i still get flashed. Honestly it’s annoying and I probably wouldn’t do it again. But if you dont mind that then nothing should hold you back. Quality product and nice lights but every other car flashing lights at me is bothersome and probably dangerous. (Yes it’s probably a lot to do with my 6 inch lift and 33s but i never had this issue with stock lights)

That would be very irritating. I set mine to where my factory headlights were set and yes, they were blinding everyone. There is a huge difference in the beam pattern where the stock lights are only bright in the center with the edges just fading out. The XB pattern is full with no fading at the edges (if that makes sense). I just adjusted them down and I haven’t been flashed since, or any more than before the swap.

Hey bro, nice modification and definitely something I will be doing myself. Do the daytime running lights come on when you put the vehicle in drive?

@ Matt Henny, thanks for checking it out. The DRLs in the headlights and fog lights all come on when it’s shifted into drive. Only the headlights have the turn signals though. Which is fine, don’t need to entire front of the truck flashing.

Hello. Hope everything is fine in your life. Are the XB head lights worth it? I want an upgrade in light but not one that blinds the on coming traffic. Are they bright where they need to be? Thanks for your input.

Very much worth it to me. Adjusted correctly, they put the light where it should be with plenty of output. No issues blinding oncoming traffic for the most part. No more A-holes flashing after than before when I had crappy stock headlights. Some people are just lame though.

I don’t even own a gmc so I’m jus Watchin 😂😂
