I was going through depression and my friend told me to listen to this. My friend is a Christian and I finally became a Christian, because I wasn't raised to be a Christian. This song is very true, I'm now coming out of depression. :)

My Life As A Deaf Christian: I was not born deaf but I had a ear infection when I was a toddler. Everyone used to call out my name but I didn't look at who called me. So my parents took me to the audiologist (ear doctor) and found out that because of my ear infection, I am deaf. My mom was a teenage mother, she didn't know what to do but was willing to make sure I had what I needed. My grandparents were always praying for me. One day, before becoming a headstar student, I asked my grandpa, "Why did God make me like this? " He told me something prophetic which came to play later in my freshman year. ... "God will lead you to preach to the deaf people. Those are the ones who cannot hear without a preacher " If you read Romans 10:14, you will see a verse that says "who shall hear without a preacher? " Since I was a kid, I had to go to a speech therapist to improve my speaking. I wasn't good at talking. I struggled until I was 16 when I finally passed. A speech therapist told me, "You're gonna make a difference to people one day". Man, God keeps speaking to me! But before that, I remember entering a high school where many gangs, violence and few witches were attending. I was nervous but I placed my trust in God. I wondered "Why am I here in this school? What's the purpose? " The answer was in the cafeteria. I saw a group of deaf people talking and I stood outside the door looking through the glass windows. One deaf student said, "We need a real Christian person who knows sign language to lead us back to God. It's been awhile no one has shown up to bring the Gospel ". I was surprised. But I went to the bathroom and prayed, "God, is this why I'm here? " Suddenly, a staff came in the bathroom and a woman looks at me smiling and said, "It could be such a time like this that God will use you to reach to them. Be ready to speak to them. God is with you. " Amazing! Since then, I preach to the deaf, confronted the Jehovah's Witnesses interpreters and even rebuked witches. I had fought in prayers for them and continue to share Gospel with them. Growing up in churches, I never had sign language interpreters. Every time I requested for it, I was turned down. Well, I forced myself to read lips and listen carefully. I can hear 70% of the time with my hearing aids on. Without them, I hear nothing. I lost 30% of hearing. You look at me and all you see is a talented and miracle child. I have signed and sing since I was 14 years old. I have also worked and congregate with deaf people in Puerto Rico as well. I will continue to be God's instrument even when God will open my ears. I want deaf people to know him. Deaf people deserve to know the Gospel too. God bless.

I'm a MK and my family is in Nepal. At Saturday there was a big earthquake and it frightened all of us. During the quake and aftershocks I kept singing and humming this song! You MAKE Me Brave! Please Pray!

I was surprised to see that Moriah Peters went ahead on her career and glad to hear her singing again. She took God in her heart. Though she didn't get to American Idols she was brave and didn't give up on her dreams.God bless her and I hope she'll get far on her way to the fame.

My daughter and I got to see her sing in a private concert at a retreat earlier this year. She is amazing and inspirational. She put the mike in my daughters face and she got to sing and meet her after the show. So down to earth and real. Love this song too. My power ballad for sure

Oh THIS! Thank you so much for this. It's so encouraging and beautiful. God makes me brave. He gave me my confidence back when I was 44. I didn't know it was missing but the moment He gave it back I realized it had been stolen (along with my innocence) when I was 9 years old. Now He's pushed me SO FAR out of my comfort zone. I pray He makes everyone brave and shows them their worth in Him. Everything changes when He does this for you!

This song resembles her staying in his words and believing him, even in gunpoint or being the only Christian in the world. Even without someone beside her or agreeing with her. I love this one to death

When i was six years old I was in a golf cart accident. The accident left me with third degree burns and years of surgrey to come. I never understood why something like this would happen until resently. When i finally stopped running from God and instead ran towards Him. I realized I did not have to be afraid. I could be brave. The broken girl I was and didn't even realize it doesn't have to be broken. I can be brave. I am now fifteen almost sixteen and I am not afraid anymore. I am brave.

Thank you for Rocking The Lake tonight!!!! The Lord is so good and girl He is evident in your life. What an amazing testimony you have. My children love both you and your husband's music. I am so thankful they have some very influential people to look up to. They are only 5 and 8 and want to save all their kisses and whole hearts for their future wives!!! They are just in awe of "I'll Wait For You" and "Haven't Even Kissed"!!!! Praise God in the highest!!!!! God bless Moriah. :-)

My Christian camp holds a Princess Camp each year which teaches us, God's daughter's, that we're princesses. This year, this song was the theme song because our theme verse was John 1:9. It really did light a fire in my soul, like God had held my hand that weekend. I love this song and will always love it ❤

I was praying last night about this new romantic relationship because I was terrified of heartbreak and disappointment down the road. I wanted God to guide me and protect me. Then I woke up this morning with this song in my head and I knew God had placed in in my heart. Thank you God! :)

I just saw her with rend collective and urban rescue in grand rapids, MI! IT WAS AWESOME! She really did an outstanding performance, and she threw a beanie out that said BRAVE on it, a girl next to me got it! SO MUCH FUN! I was so blessed to be able to go.
