Keep an eye out for limited run possibly or an Asia physical release with English at places like playasia. I've got P4G on vita so I don't need the switch edition and P3 is apparently the worst version of the two that exist so I won't be buying that either. Still it's great for those that don't own other machines to experience past entry's in a great franchise.

It’s great to be getting Persona 3 but I really wish we’d get a new definitive version of P3 that meshes together P3 FES and P3 Portable. It’s the number one request on every survey ATLUS puts out.

P3Portable is unplayable for me since I cut my teeth on the real PS2 version for hundreds of hours. The PSP version doesn’t feel the same at all.

Exactly, they both have extras and in other ways are lacking, neither is a true definitive edition like Golden is for Persona 4. Everyone says they wish it was FES, but you have no social links with the guys of the team nor full party control. Both are lacking.

Persona 4 is my favorite one. There's just this vibe to it that I can't explain. Well it'll be nice to play these again. I've never played this version of persona 3 though.

Same! I played P4G after finding out it was on steam a few months after finishing Royal. I was at the end of April and I was like “uh oh I’m about to have an unpopular opinion”. I know there will be a line of people waiting to tell me how wrong I was. But I’m glad there are others who like P4 or P3 more. Each of them have their own strengths and weaknesses.

I love persona 4’s world, characters, and mood more than Persona 5. Sadly the dungeon crawling gameplay really brought down the game for me from a 9.5 or 10/10 to a 7 or 8/10 and made the gameplay less enjoyable than Persona 5 in general. Both stories are still amazing though

Yeah the setting and characters really made that one for me. I enjoy 3 and 5 but there was something about a murder mystery in the boonies I just liked more.

Ever since I first played it persona 3 has been my favorite out of the whole series and it's amazing that there's gonna be a lot of new fans next month

Man I am so excited, I am currently playing royal and I am having a blast. I'm totally picking these 2 up.

I'm soooo glad we are getting these on Switch, My Vita Slim has been showing signs of wear, and tear on the screen, so grateful. Thank you every staff people who worked on getting this ported.

The Switch really is carrying the Vita's torch and I'm so excited to relive two of my favourite handheld experiences on the trot.

My favorite RPG finally on the Switch!! P4G. P3 is also incredible. Would have LOVED P3 FES!

It's really cool that these games are more accessible than ever now; Everyone makes jokes about "now persona fans can finally play the games", but before p4g's pc port these weren't exactly easy to get ahold of without a vita (self explanatory) or emulation.

i love the fact that persona 3/4/5 are getting ported to everything now. thank you atlas for doing this and preserving these games on consoles that arent the psp/psvita. and the fact that persona 5 isnt limited to just ps4/5 anymore. cant wait for when you guys announce persona 6 in 3 years.

Picking up 3 as soon as it comes out

If the teenage version of myself could see how much Persona was in the mainstream nowadays, he would absolutely flip. I used to play P3P on my PSP in bed all night and be exhausted at school. 😅 P4 on my PS2 was one of my favorite gaming experiences, still trying to adapt to the new Chie voice. Lol Then to see P5 absolutely explode with popularity was so great, now its reinvigorated Atlus to bring Persona out of the niche corner it was sitting in. Hope people have the same amazing experiences with these games that I did!!

@@JohnkyTonkbadonkadonk I'm pretty sure most of them just unlocked as soon as I started up the file, but it's been two and a half years, so my memory's a bit fuzzy on that. What I do know is I'm only missing the one you get for reading all the books now, and I don't remember having to repeat any of the annoying ones, though that might be because some of them I ended up doing on Steam instead of PS Vita.

In p4G they're adding the ability to go through conversations you've done in the game already and go down the other answers to see how they play out without restarting the game. And quick saves. So, technically saying there's zero new content is wrong.

sucks for me as a big Fire Emblem fan that these are releasing literally the day before FE Engage comes out but i'll definitely get round to them eventually, after finally getting to see what all the fuss was about with Perosna 5 and loving every second of it, i'm curious to try out the games that led to it.

@@kaylevy7107 only P3P is viable for emulation as PSP emulation works well even on low end PCs (even Switch can emulate PSP games through homebrew). For P4G, PS Vita emulation is still in early stages.

You should go one step further and get into the Shin Megami Tensei series. It's the parent IP to Persona. I'd recommended SMTIV, the recent(ish) Nocturne remaster or Digital Devil Saga. From there, you can check out all the others like Strange Journey or the Soul Hackers remaster for 3DS.

I played P3 way way back in 2009 and Persona 4. So glad I get to play the version of P4 with inherited skills.

Morgana: I also heard about other persona users, but I can't make contact with them yet. Kind of an odd ones. Some reporter girl for a magazine, a police officer and something like a hacker or extortionist. Wow! They are really strange to be persona users... and old, but maybe they can help us in some future.

Thank you Morgana for introducing other games where you won’t be nagging me about sleep

PSA; for people wanting to download the games. Make sure you have 16 gb for both. 7gb for P3P and 9gb for P4G. I'm super excited and can't wait to own these games on the switch.

@@olimac82 I have a friend that doesn't have an SD card over 128 gb but have a ton of games he archives after he beats them. I know for myself I upgraded from 400gb to 512gb to finally 1tb but I still use the other two as my giant games library or games I won't be picking up and playing in one sitting. Different strokes for different folks though.

I can't wait. I only ever played Persona 3(I never finished), and now I'm enjoying p5r.

I feel like Persona 3 is an easy game to not finish, just because the gameplay can get so samey. Always climbing another floor of that tower lol. Worth it to go back and push yourself thru someday, though. P4G and P5R have a lot more variety, so they're easier to stick with, IMO.

@@xxProjectJxx exactly why I'm happy they gave us portable for newer players to play than fes, since 3 portable has less fluff and better balancing.

@Cam Harkness I agree. Portable cleaned up the gameplay a lot. I only wish they brought back animated cutscenes too.

I would be willing to do a lot of dark things to get a physical release for these games. Oh well, I'll take what I can get.

Morgana's guides to Persona 3 & Persona 4 Golden remind me a lot of unused dialogue if you talk with your Phantom Thieves members if you make them switch their costume that is from Persona 3 & 4, but this? Cool.

P3P & P4G are the only reasons I'm trying to finish my game backlog right now. I absolutely luv this franchise Thank you so much Atlus & Nintendo 🔥🤘🏾🖤!!!
