This song is so clever, had my heart broke like this when I was in my early 20's, never the same since. It is like trying to put a bandaid on a bullet hole, it never truly heals, just the bleeding stops and you keep moving on..The scar is always going to be there as a reminder no matter how much you put it out of your mind...

His music got me out of a deep depression. It was a battle everyday. Then I start listening to him and slowly his music got me back to life. Looking around seeing what life I have why was I sitting in my room wasting it away. I live in the low country of South Carolina it’s to beautiful to be depressed

Anytime I hear the word cowboy in a song it gets me for some reason. My great great great grandparents moved out west to Oregon and claimed their plot of land in the late 1800s when the homesteading act was passed. Those few thousand acres were the start of our family history of cowboys and ranching and we still own it today. Although it’s inactive nowadays and has been sold down to just a few hounded acres, it is still my absolute favorite place on earth. Long live cowboys and cowgirls.
