Fun fact about Camila's X Factor audition: She was told that she couldn't audition because they ran out of time, saw Simon Cowell backstage taking a cigarette break, convinced him to let her audition in which he replied, "Just do it. Go audition." She stepped on stage and the rest is history. I see that same fire in her as a coach... Really fighting for what she wants for her team. Fun to watch someone who's been through it be a voice for these artists, similar to Kelly Clarkson being our American Idol.

Because it's about a lot more than that and with a lot of competition. You did hear her say she played over 100 shows in the last year?! And while "record deals" is what it used to be about, with streaming services the $$ is in LIVE SHOWS not record deals. People pay $1 or less for a single - or nothing in many streaming services - to listen to one catchy song over and over. All the artists talk about how they mostly make $ on shows and merch now. If she played over 100 shows, she knows it.

I think Camila blocked Gwen for a reason, she did say that she felt like the contestant was singing with her soul with emotion, like that, and that’s something Gwen always seeks for. So for some reason I think Camila did understand her competition very well and be so thoughtfully to quickly block Gwen.

Blake traded in a heavy drinking, self centered cheater for a kind, loyal, honest, family oriented woman. And get your facts right. Gwen Stefani was first signed as a Voice coach in 2014 before she even knew who Blake Shelton was. She was signed as a coach because she has a long career with hits in every genre, mega success as the lead singer and songwriter of a rock band, mega success as a pop singer and songwriter. She’s sold over 50 million records (more than Blake and Miranda combined) and won 3 Grammys out of 18 nominations (Blake has won none). Blake is great, but he has zero to do with Gwen’s 30 year career or success or why she was signed as a Voice coach.

Morgan should have been the winner this season. Her versatility and ability to express deep emotion, I felt, was unmatched. Camila did a great job as a coach and did nothing wrong, however, I truly believe that if she would have chosen Blake she would have won, not because of any greater coaching ability on Blake’s part but because of tremendous devotion to him by The Voice viewers. Many people vote for him just as much as they do the artist. Out of five singers in the finale, three were Team Blake and with next season being Blake’s last, contestants would be wise to consider that when choosing a coach. Not that he wins every time, but 10 out of 22 isn’t bad.

She looks and sounds just like Kelly. I miss her as a coach this season. Morgan will be a great addition to any team tbh. Very versatile singer.

@@Ademir2809 Just because grandmas vote for Blake doesn’t mean he’s the king haha they’re only voting because they think it’s his last season but it’s not until S23. They’re voting for the coach not the voice. Bodie is great tho but the 16 year old is good too but not as great to be in the finale.

Got to see Morgan Myles at Roosters in Nashville in 2011 at open mic night. OMG had the same goosebumps that night as I did watching this performance!!

Super talented Morgan, I love her singing and she is so comfortable on the stage and also so beautiful. I love this song and Morgan execution. Simply the best.

She's so incredible! Beautiful tone, range and then the growl/rasp! AHHH! love!

Wow Camila is really great for her first time as a coach! She knows what to say, really strategic and smart! If I was her I’d pick Camila’s 😅team or Blake’s team.

It’s amazing how many fabulous singers there are that just can’t get the help they need to make it. Nashville is full of those people. People washing dishes and waiting tables that are scary good musicians and singers!

Wow! Her rendition gave me chills from head to toes, absolutely amazing….. I have listened to so many renditions of this song.

Tone, range, soul, originality, storyteller, hits all the notes, demo singer, solo acoustic guitarist, touring artist. Yes the music industry can takes years to break into, but like any other industry you have to do your apprenticeship and master your craft along the way. You’ve done that and now it’s time to have your name up in lights. Wishing you all the very best with your journey- don’t stop believing...hold onto that feeling.

Great choice picking Camila because in Blake’s team she would be overlooked for some country lad with a raspy voice or young cute face. John always has too many great vocalists to choose from male and female too. No one thought Camila as a newbie would manage to get so many great vocalists over other judges, and here she made it clear she was really excited to have Morgan as someone “special”, that’s her biggest pull as a judge.

Damn Camila went from being a contestant on X factor to now a judge on the voice. Much deserved

I could really see her benefiting from working with Blake to round out some of her strong points and bring life to some parts where she needs the slightest improvement. I love this interesting coaching panel this season as well. She definitely gives classic singer-songwriter vibes. I love how supportive her family is, that’s so important.
