man i really had this video pop up and said "no shot theirs a fucking world class coffee tournament" 15 minutes later Im sitting here like: "how perfectly eloquent and professional of a display of coffee tradition and literature I would clearly give this presentation several points above the rest, in fact I dont think there has been a previous presentation to beat this one" seriously skeptical at first but holy fuck what a cool fucking competition. those coffees sounded fucking heavenly. I don't even drink coffee, but i saw this video and was like "hey that's that girl who makes funny videos about being a barrista, kinda curious what that is about" and suddenly I was strapped in for a 15 minute story about coffee I didn't know I wanted to hear, told absolutely brilliantly. This was a stunning performance! And I guess the drinks were probably allright aswell ^^

You can see their nervousness when they fill the flavour agents(?) into the mixer for the signature. They're shaking, but it doesn't reach their voice at all!

As a Colombian, I felt incredibly proud of how appreciative Morgan and her team are of our culture and local ingredients. Colombian coffee is truly one of the best ones in the world, and seeing professionals like her highlight not only its quality but also the entire economy that's behind it, made me feel super happy. I'm definitely gonna try to find the coffee from La Inmaculada here ❤

She does an absolutely incredible job masking her nervousness, and providing a truly incredible experience for anyone she tends to. You can see how much she is shaking and still delivering a good show. The moment you are not nervous you are not interested in the result of your show. Being nervous shows that you care and that you want a good result. I'm impressed by the preparation and practise she must've done beforehand.

Actually, having passion and care to the topic of presentation can bring out confidence in yourself and in turn minimize the nervousnesses. Simply put, people work better when they’re doing what they love or they’re already a professional

Also, the only times my hands ever shook in a presentation was when I was being judged. Its perfectly normal, even with years of experience. Incredible story-telling, locked the whole way through. Speaking for 15 minutes, staying on script, all while making 16 servings…is absolutely bonkers. This was such a well delivered presentation. Congratulations!!

I'm so proud of her. I had been following her on Tik Tok since she first started her coffee series. I loved her content. I remember her saying that a goal of hers is to pursue the Barista Championship- and here she is doing just that. She's come so far. The stories and history she was describing whilst creating these drinks was not only extremely informative, but also inspirational. I held on to every word. I just can't describe the pride I felt when she said, "that's time." Great job, Morgan.

I loved how she infused her performance art, fine arts, and the art of coffee making with her message about overcoming the challenges faced by the coffee industry as a whole; all the while, the purpose of overcoming issues related to climate change or the depersonalization of the industry was to bring back the very wholesome quality of restoring something "familiar" for the consumer to comfort them with the tastes or cultural "celebratory" scents she used in each ingredient. Beautiful script and the choreography of her performance was elegant. So curious about the textures and flavors of the coffee flavors she described too! Congratulations, Morgan!

Somehow she's truly the Coffee Prince, I know her of instagram, but because she has short hair she just resembles that caracther a lot. The pandemic gave her the ability to excell as a barista and now she's second best barrista in the World. Absolutely inspiring, and she'll for sure will win the title once in her life-time.

This is confirmation that the whole “Coffeeshop vibe” is not an online invention. I’ve never seen judges who looked so genuinely interested and encouraging to the candidate, while also keeping it professional. As for Morgan, her trembling hands only emphasize how masterful she is. She never lost professionalism, charisma, and passion. It really felt like: “yes, we have to compete, but let’s not forget what we care about is our shared passion for creating a moment of bliss in just one small cup of coffee”

You know how much she love her job and fully dedicated to it. Its splendid. The elegance she have while preparing the coffee and the narration she was giving are full of information. Not everyone can multitask while speaking about facts and history of the coffee. Which make more interesting is the way she’s times her speech with her movement at the perfect time and cleanly offer the drinks with the perfect services without overlapping her sentences.

im currently in hospitality studies and learning for it as a major, which includes catering and being a possible barista as morgan..i can tell you now,,being in a kitchen at that level is such a high amount of stress, the fact that she is able to serve so well AND speak without stuttering with such confidence shows that she has worked so hard for this moment in her life. but even dispite that, i can just imagine how she is freaking out inside her head from stress , props to her. seeing this makes her my new rolemodel

If you look closely while she is pouring in the test tubes, her hands are shaking a lot, but her voice is steady, and she doesn't spill a drop. She trained well for this, and it shows, but she was still nervous. She's goddamn amazing

What an absolutely beautiful narrative and delivery. Both Morgan's coffee prowess and oratory power were on full display here. I loved her beverage choices, but also the ending when she smashed the espresso cups and provided the kintsugi cups for her signature. What a gorgeous full circle experience. :O

Half of her right shot was wasted because she didn’t center it. She left already pressed coffee in the open for over 10 seconds (drying, loss of aroma) , broken glass, overall nervousness over the top I like her but I’m surprised she made it that far if that was her attitude trough the entire competition

@@procreatetimelapse5389 When you said "broken glass", I thought you meant she dropped a glass during the competition, but the glass she broke was intentional and part of the presentation. I don't think that's fair to strike against her. It also doesn't look like "half" that shot was lost from the lack of centering, nor do I think "over the top" is an accurate characterization of the nerves.

man i really had this video pop up and said "no shot theirs a fucking world class coffee tournament" 15 minutes later Im sitting here like: "how perfectly eloquent and professional of a display of coffee tradition and literature I would clearly give this presentation several points above the rest, in fact I dont think there has been a previous presentation to beat this one" seriously skeptical at first but holy fuck what a cool fucking competition. those coffees sounded fucking heavenly. You can see their nervousness when they fill the flavour agents(?) into the mixer for the signature. They're shaking, but it doesn't reach their voice at all!
I didn't realize this was even a thing that existed. I don't even like coffee but I still found this interesting. I'd sit around listening to someone talk about coffee for hours with this level of passion.

As a Colombian, I felt incredibly proud of how appreciative Morgan and her team are of our culture and local ingredients. Colombian coffee is truly one of the best ones in the world, and seeing professionals like her highlight not only its quality but also the entire economy that's behind it, made me feel super happy. I'm definitely gonna try to find the coffee from La Inmaculada here ❤
Its amazing seeing her hands shake a little with nerves and pressure while she works but hearing her voice come out SO CONFIDENT. I aspire to such levels of professionalism.

I absolutely love how you can see her hands shaking from how nervous she is, but her voice is so perfectly leveled and calming regardless. She does an absolutely incredible job masking her nervousness, and providing a truly incredible experience for anyone she tends to. Her voice is so surprising to me like not what I expected her to sound like. Girl sounds like a professional talker like someone who could read books or something. Like I’m extremely jealous of her barista talent but also low key jealous of her voice lol
The way she was holding together is commendable her hands were a little shivering still her voice was calm and process was clean she can say that she was shivering out of excitement ❤️

You can see how much she is shaking and still delivering a good show. The moment you are not nervous you are not interested in the result of your show. Being nervous shows that you care and that you want a good result. I'm impressed by the preparation and practise she must've done beforehand.

Actually, having passion and care to the topic of presentation can bring out confidence in yourself and in turn minimize the nervousnesses. Simply put, people work better when they’re doing what they love or they’re already a professional

Brava! As a member of a Professional Speakers association in Canada and 25 years on the mic... huge props to Morgan. Also, the only times my hands ever shook in a presentation was when I was being judged. Its perfectly normal, even with years of experience. Incredible story-telling, locked the whole way through. Well done!!!
Im so amazed by Morgan, by also the judges - so kindly looking, smiling to give competitor courage and make them feel comfortable under pressure. What an amazing show. And I dont even drink coffee.

Yo…my wife was a barista and coffee roaster, so I’ve been to a few barista competitions and I have to say, this was SPECTACULAR presentation. Speaking for 15 minutes, staying on script, all while making 16 servings…is absolutely bonkers. This was such a well delivered presentation. Congratulations!!

I'm so proud of her. I had been following her on Tik Tok since she first started her coffee series. I loved her content. I remember her saying that a goal of hers is to pursue the Barista Championship- and here she is doing just that. She's come so far. The stories and history she was describing whilst creating these drinks was not only extremely informative, but also inspirational. I held on to every word. I just can't describe the pride I felt when she said, "that's time." Great job, Morgan.

I loved how she infused her performance art, fine arts, and the art of coffee making with her message about overcoming the challenges faced by the coffee industry as a whole; all the while, the purpose of overcoming issues related to climate change or the depersonalization of the industry was to bring back the very wholesome quality of restoring something "familiar" for the consumer to comfort them with the tastes or cultural "celebratory" scents she used in each ingredient. Beautiful script and the choreography of her performance was elegant. So curious about the textures and flavors of the coffee flavors she described too! Congratulations, Morgan!

Somehow she's truly the Coffee Prince, I know her of instagram, but because she has short hair she just resembles that caracther a lot. The pandemic gave her the ability to excell as a barista and now she's second best barrista in the World. Absolutely inspiring, and she'll for sure will win the title once in her life-time.

This is confirmation that the whole “Coffeeshop vibe” is not an online invention. I’ve never seen judges who looked so genuinely interested and encouraging to the candidate, while also keeping it professional. As for Morgan, her trembling hands only emphasize how masterful she is. She never lost professionalism, charisma, and passion. It really felt like: “yes, we have to compete, but let’s not forget what we care about is our shared passion for creating a moment of bliss in just one small cup of coffee”

Such an amazing presentation! Her tone of voice, the speech itself, the techniques of brewing, polite and outgoing mannerisms and all perfectly rounded up with the visual of the broken coffee cups-an act that solidifies the whole experience in your memory! Everything was so relaxing and at the same time jaw dropping! Absolutely stellar!
I'm watching again Morgan's presentation to inspire me for a coffee tasting I have to do next week and it is only till now that I realize how amazing and wonderful her presentation was
You know how much she love her job and fully dedicated to it. Its splendid. The elegance she have while preparing the coffee and the narration she was giving are full of information. Not everyone can multitask while speaking about facts and history of the coffee. Which make more interesting is the way she’s times her speech with her movement at the perfect time and cleanly offer the drinks with the perfect services without overlapping her sentences.

im currently in hospitality studies and learning for it as a major, which includes catering and being a possible barista as morgan..i can tell you now,,being in a kitchen at that level is such a high amount of stress, the fact that she is able to serve so well AND speak without stuttering with such confidence shows that she has worked so hard for this moment in her life. but even dispite that, i can just imagine how she is freaking out inside her head from stress , props to her. seeing this makes her my new rolemodel

What an absolutely beautiful narrative and delivery. Both Morgan's coffee prowess and oratory power were on full display here. I loved her beverage choices, but also the ending when she smashed the espresso cups and provided the kintsugi cups for her signature. What a gorgeous full circle experience. :O

Memorizing a 15 minute monologue alone would've taken several weeks! Let alone the multi-tasking and creating her beverages
The narration was shockingly thorough, I didn't expect such a show with symbolism and history!
This has to be one of the greatest professionals challenges ever, memorize a speech while preparing coffee for a group of judges
She is the most eloquent speaker I've ever heard, it's almost surreal! Learning a speach by heart is one thing, but telling it while making coffee extremely precisely just in front of the jury during a world competition? Wow, just wow.
If she got 2nd place, I wanna see who got 1st because she was absolutely amazing!

After watching the finals, I don’t know how Morgan didn’t win. Her presentation was amazing and on point. No downtime, info packed. Voice and speech was flowing so well.

Half of her right shot was wasted because she didn’t center it. She left already pressed coffee in the open for over 10 seconds (drying, loss of aroma) , broken glass, overall nervousness over the top I like her but I’m surprised she made it that far if that was her attitude trough the entire competition

@@procreatetimelapse5389 When you said "broken glass", I thought you meant she dropped a glass during the competition, but the glass she broke was intentional and part of the presentation. I don't think that's fair to strike against her. It also doesn't look like "half" that shot was lost from the lack of centering, nor do I think "over the top" is an accurate characterization of the nerves.

I don't drink coffee a lot but Morgan made me recognize the art, history, and cultural power coffee has. She really makes it all palatable to those who never thought twice about the drink.

Her performance painted an image of coffee and its connection to human history. The judges who drank her brew while watching her live must have had an unique experience. Made me realise coffee can be a medium to express oneself like art.
I don’t even drink a drop of coffee at all but i’ve been watching her comforting reels for a while now and she has become my comfort person
Girl, you are absolutely badass. The confidence, the speech, the professionalism... I am so proud of u.
I was a barista and I loved the process of making coffee. I had no idea it was a competition until I saw Morgan on KZread and TikTok. She did such an amazing job here and I'm so glad she won 2nd.

I’ve been a barista for a few years, but watching this I feel like a toddler who just figured out finger painting seeing the Sistine Chapel for the first time
her speech is giving me goose bumps !!! holy cow, I am very happy to see and know this and it's making me my re interested in listening about coffee I am all round surprised 😮🙌😍
This is performance as much as coffee making. And the hours and hours of practice show in how effortless the performance looks. A joy to watch.
I didn’t expect to see her like this! Nor did I expect a barista championship going on. She was so cool in presenting and executing her coffee work, crazily impressed by how calm she sounded!
