You have a former health secretary that a DR saying Tories have destroyed the NHS and anti boats Tory saying her party plan not working and labour has a better plan. If I was a voter I would say why would I voter conservative when their own people are leaving to labour when they have a better plan plus current Conservative Party in chaos. Just looking at the Conservative Party you can see it just needs to be put to pasture of leadership chaos… so many want to get rid of current PM but all contenders rather be leader after the election to have a career and not lead their party to biggest wipe out in history… if they changed leader again just proves the party is ungovernable mess.

So funny to hear these people try and frame a defection as somehow a bad thing for Kier Starmer. It actually demonstrates that she's quite politically savvy. She recognizes that the way to move forward and stay in office is by moving to the left! When you're far right, moving left makes you a moderate. And moderation is what the voters want. Maybe the Tories should follow her lead and start moving to the left? That's honestly the only thing they haven't tried at this point.

I'm a Labour Party supporter sometimes member and I think Sir Kier has shown his class again. tories are still our people, we can't have half of our nation against the other half. Conservative policy and ideology doesn't work. The evidence is indisputable. It has caused great pain. One example is calling sections of our society 'the enemy' and hurting them for the distraction of the others. tory voters need to see the consequences then help put this right. We either all win or none of us win

Don't forget that the most recent Tory Turncoat has already said he will not be standing at the election. His defection was entirely pointless. I get that he is a NHS Doctor, but he was absolutely complicit in the destruction of the NHS as a Tory. So defecting to Labour was a total waste of time.
