Not since Thomas Builds-The-Fire told the story of Arlene's magic frybread in the brilliant movie Smoke Signals has anyone captured the true frybread culture until this film. I absolutely loved this! I'm a little sad it took me twelve years to find out about it.

It's because we only used the times they were straight faced! Yes - lots of laughter on set...

I enjoyed that so much!! And even though I didn't see one black face (people of African heritage) in the entire movie, we were well represented in Buddy's music and I really appreciate that! We are all One. ONE LOVE!!

I have had Indian bread from India which is fried but that is it, I fry nothing these days but am curious to what the Frybread tastes like.
