Soooo, we just did this song at church yesterday. I already knew the song, but I periodically look for drum covers to give me ideas on different songs. Of course, Mike has a cover to this...because he's just dope like that. It inspired me to try a couple of licks. My favorite was a 7:01. Even my minister of music was caught off guard with that one. Great video. Although, I would have loved it if the bassist played that 5 in 6:26 as instructed and in 6:58. It would've made a less predictable sequence than the others.

@@jaydub6777 dope. Yeah my bottom is usually pretty tight to reduce or completely take away any ring/overtone and my tops are tuned to preference.

It’s just a substation for the notes of the scale really. For instance, in the A major scale, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1 is the same as a,b,c#,d,e,f#,g#,a.
