Looks really cool. Like that it transforms into the water change utility but not sure about the double forty five degree return. Feel like that could mess with circulation.

Good point about using for water changes all in all a good piece of kit.

It doesn't matter how many Innovations they come up from the internal filter science bench.. nobody has yet topped the old reliable EHEIM Pickup series

Cool product. I don't even think you would need to have it in 'pump mode' you could use it with the filter compartments still on it if you wanted.

Typical just bought a seperate submersible pump for water changes, this would have do the trick, so good features too... Never mind!

JBJ used to make a dual output powerhead. I found that it ran warmer than most powerheads and the impeller was hard to source. I wonder if the Aqua dual outlet powerhead will be easier to source parts.

So will it rust (the stainless steel screws or any other parts) in salt water? How is it holding up? 5:26

Hg 112 I think it is. It's fully controllable and only £56.99 looks maybe a good bargain buy.

Would you need a filter on it using it as a power head to stop small fish getting sucked up? It looks like you put the bottom cap on but this looked to be open to the propeller?

They would have to be very small fish and healthy fish do not get sucked into anything

I really don't like the exposed impeller design in "powerhead" mode. It can easily blend snails, small fishes, floating coral heads, maybe a wandering anemone, or just simply eat up some algae or sand and melt down in your aquarium zapping everyone to death. All I can see are numerous ways of disaster with this one, at least a grill should have been provided. I also consider the best filter silent, and it looks like generic noisy chinese c. Aquael if cheap, Sicce if quality or jerry rig something to a DC return pump and you will be better off.

DON'T PROMOTE SUCH CHINESE NONSENSE

Well I just purchased one off the back of this review. £23 and just what I was looking for. I'm not into buying 'aquatic hipster' named equipment for £100s when I know it does a very similar job and might not last much longer. I've got cheap Chinese equipment that's been running 24/7 for over 10 years. Thanks for the review.

@@bigmoncrief6071 I fully agree that some stuff lasts twice as/and longer than some of the Expensive Name Brands... It looks like a solid unit, and worthy of the asking price too... Yet, Hygger and AQQA make some great products, not all products, but some are worth it.
