More Than A Box - How To - Keepsake Box (Funny Intro)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

A box is a box unless you make it with love... With a little bit of elbow grease and love, a keepsake box can give someone joy as well as keep their memories in a safe place forever. Here I show you how to make this beautiful continuous walnut/maple/padauk keepsake box. This was a high school graduation present, which the recipient LOVED!!!

Great Job! It was quite refreshing to have a creator just talk naturally and fully explain his methodology. No stupid contorted faces ,bad jokes or crazy music. I'm a sub.

1st sub, like and comment for the Toguchi channel. That's a lot of first for someone who will have a KZread play button soon. Knocked it out of the park man, and 1st YT video? Stoked for you buddy. You crushed it on the box and the videography! Cheers to 100k subs in the near future! Really enjoyed this!

I feel like this is something I would see on HGTV or the DIY Network. Awesome work and I can’t wait to see your next project. Maybe a live edge kitchen countertop, something like that?

Thanks Joe Weber! I think I'll need someone manning the camera so maybe you should fly up again and help with that. But, seriously I'll need to get more comfortable in front of a camera and talking into a mic but once I do I'll be able to do stuff that we talked about

Great video and explanations ... and I like your dry sense of humour!! 😂🤣. Really appreciated watching your work and you've inspired me to try to make my own 1st keepsake gift box. Now to find the plans ... You did leave plans ... didn't you?? I hope so 😬 👍👍 for your work

Hmmmm, Sammy, your links didn't work. Could you consider making your plans or dimensions available for us trying to do the same? Thanks mate, cheers G.

Hi Geoff, first off thank you so much for taking the time to write and liking my work! Honestly, when I made this video (my first YT video) I had no idea people would like it or want to make it! so thank you! I didn't think of having plans but, I do have them in my notes on the dimensions. I should make some and let you know! I'm sorry about that. But, thanks for bringing that to my attention! Also, thanks for the like and support!

Nice work: 2 things tho. . DONT talk so much. Most of us know what woodworking is about, and dont need instruction or explanation. DONT say "I" unless absolutely necessary!! It's all about the wood and the thinking process: NOT about YOU. . Good luck man.

@@ToguchiFurniture you seem like someone who could go far, so I was just trying to help. Public speaking is tough, but the more you look and sound professional the more people will take you seriously and back you up

@@VikingRaider I appreciate that. I’m awful at public speaking and it translates to the camera haha but I’ve been working on that. I’ll definitely take your advise to heart. Thanks for taking the time to reach out and help! I’m Sammy by the way!
