Paramount is a century old small shop in the heart of College Street, serving various juices, cold drinks, and syrups on summer days. Started by Nihar Ranjan Majumder, this place was built to give shelter to the freedom fighters in the pre-independent Kolkata. Now it has become one of the most iconic sherbet all around Kolkata.
