As a black American, the only African country I've ever visit has been Ethiopia over the past 15 years. Some of the most genuine, respectful and religious people I've every encountered were Ethiopians. It really hurts me inside to know that since the war has began every day Ethiopians have been murdered, tortured and raped by other Ethiopians. After witnessing the close ties among Ethiopians, its almost impossible to believe these atrocities are occurring. I pray for mama Ethiopia.

There was an attempt at such things under Mengistu but never in the real sense, partly because the east was disputed territory between Somalia and Ethiopia.

Oromo identity politics grew in the 60s when Elemo Qilto was arrested by the monarchy for organizing Oromo groups, eventually forming the OLF in 1973, a year before the Derg coupe. Dont try and pin the ethnic problems on TPLF. That type of rhetoric led to Tigray genocide. Now people are being killed everywhere. Ethiopia is an embarassment.

Amhara elites are the most controversial bigots of today on earth. Ethio 360 and some more have been promoting an Amhara expansionist, a more or less imperialist campaign among the Amharas. This politics is the root cause of the killings of many people in Tigray resulting in genocide and ethnics cleansing that still is going on in Western Tigrai. They want to expand the Amhara land by means of genocide and ethnic cleansing. 360 and many Amhara elites have been the driving forces for the creation of the so called Fano youth in Amhara. This interview proves without doubt what the Fano youth was and what it wants to be now. The fano leader asserts that their purpose was to cleans TPLF (a bread name for the people of Tigray). When asked what their goals are now, he answered without any hesitation, they want to topple Abiy and build an Amhara government in Ethiopia. This means they want to subjugate all other 90 ethnicity under their rule. I am sure soon Habtamu and 360 will start to cry and go berserk on the Oromos due to the genocide on Amhara civilians in Oromia. They can not even connect the genocide going on western Tigrai to that going on in Oromia. For Habtamo and 360 there are two types of ethnic cleansing and they are different. When commited against Amharas by Oromo then it is really genocide and ethnic cleansing, when on the other hand children, mothers, young and old are slaughtered and pushed out of Western Tigray by Fano, then it is deaf ear. What an irony, it is sad for the innocent people of Amhara and the disillusioned youth that is being pushed to commit things that will hit his people back.
