It’s crazy how clean these look while the full short that was leaked to us a few a days ago is in VHS quality. This brings me to the conclusion that there’s probably more to this, and it can be supported by the claims of another former co-producer that said there was about 2-3 minutes of footage.

Actually, the leaked 38 seconds footage is the only part they animated, because they decided to cancel the idea of animating the entire test, we only have the complete version in storyboards.

i think some people have a belief that at some point ai will be good enough at scouring for data and piecing information together that it can make almost completely accurate "missing spaces" like give it the exterior of a piece of architecture and a single picture of the inside and it can replicate the building with accuracy to its real life interior to a degree based on what it sees outside the building aswell (exits, places where the building was expanded over the years), same with beginning and ending of a lost video @@FrillyDisaster

Almost there almost there

This brings nostalgic feelings for early 90s vfx. The dark lighting to hide blemishes. The strange proportions that feels like it was influenced by primus. The uncanny valley textures. The 90s was an awesome time for the "low brow" art scene.

90s 3d was a weird era. Primus and Mr bungle were the influence behind a lot of early college vfx artists. On top of that they used dark environments to make blending easier

So what i understand from this images about the scenes- Shrek goes to the town at midnight dancing and singing where he interrupted by a robber. The robber first didn't believe when he saw Shrek and tries to attack him. But Shrek grabs him and says "well I'm real" and launches the robber and proceeds to dance again

Pretty much, expect I think it’s more likely that the mugger didn’t know Shrek was an ogre until he saw him up close. Seems like this would have been teaser trailer footage
