They added facial expressions to losing animations a long time ago. They just added movement to the brawlers who has a static pose when they lose.

5:12 lore-wise, Buzz is a guy in a dino costume (Doug also is one) and he looks through the costume's nostrils, that's why they glow

Nah Doug is a sentient inflatable dinosaur. He has a cork in his neck and doesn’t visually show anyway that he is a costume. Unlike Buzz who has stitches and his voice lines confirm this directly blaming the suit but with Doug there’s no mention of a suit. He even says “I’m not a fighter, I’m a floater.”

I actually think that what happened with spike actually happened with buzz and all the other "people on a costume", they were just customes but with the powers of the gems that the mine trio unleashed actually make them be alive

The Cornelius changes are actually wonderful. The colors contrast much better and you can see his body a little better too. His body doesn’t look like a pitch black anymore, his previous color pallet was just harsh (bright gloves, dark body, dark hood)

You can see otises starfish on the top of the screen when you rotate him on the right angle. Edit: the regular skin, and at the start of the animation before it comes down.

They fixed when you were 2nd place in showdown and then the brawler had the losing animation, now its with the victory one on the final screen

New change at bull mang and mecha edgar picture in catalog

Wen in the catalog of dug there is a pin that moves by its self with no touch, also a new defeat animation for mecha mortis

When you hit a wall with rosa, the impact animation is color red because its using the red team animation Same with dynamike using the red team colored skin even on blue team
