27:41 yeah this is a weird issue that’s been going on for two years now. Happened to a friend of mine recently with her new Steam Deck and she had to switch to her phone hotspot to get it to work. Oddly enough it didn’t happen to my wife’s refurbished Deck.

my Ally SD card broke without ever putting in a card. When my RG35XXSP arrived I wanted to transfer ROMs and saves and it wouldn't read anything.

Bionic commando: rearmed rated well because it was great! They also added co-op play. It doesnt sound like Bob played bionic commando. Bionic comando: rearmed 2 didn't do as well because they added the jump which changed the main mechanic of what made the game unique. Part one is definitely a hidden gem. You guys missed out.

Played Halo Master Chief Collection with a friend for the first time last week after, idk, years. You gotta log into a Microsoft account or something to play and its a huge pain in the ass. Less of that crap the better. I dont want to log into steam, boot a game, wait through a bunch of company splash screens, then log into more shit. There comes a point where annoying shit like that builds enough that I'm just not gonna even bother with a game I know will have it.

You literally log in once. As long as you don’t uninstall and reinstall, it’s a one time thing. Is it really that hard to log in one time? It didn’t bother me one bit.

The price increase isn't that dramatic. The OG Ally started out at $699. Add a 1 tb 2230 NVMe, you are above the $799 price point. Just that upgrade made it the same price. The Ally X has a bigger battery, more faster RAM, and 1 tb. So, it isn't terrible. My prediction, Black Friday, the Ally X will be $699.

You're not including taxes though, an extra $100 does bump the taxes up as well.

@Dracossaint it equals out with tax on the replacement M.2. Both at 6.5 % sales tax equal $52. $799+6.5%=52. $699+6.5%=45.45 plus $100+6.5%=6.5. $45.45+$6.5=51.95. Basically the same.

I like to compare things in the present, right now we can get the original for 800CAD total taxes in Canada, or the new one for 1250CAD total. That is a difference of 450CAD.

@Shark-fj2sz I mean, you're not wrong. I'm looking at what I spent, and without a sale, $699 plus a 1 tb SSD is a good deal to go with the X. With a sale? Oh, it makes total sense to go with the lower model. Just factor the upgrades, like battery, RAM, and 1 tb SSD. If it is still cheaper, you got a good deal, my friend.

"Vote with your wallet" is right. Hubby and I spent a lot of money on The Sims 3, but I have spent a very low amount on The Sims 4 - I did buy the base game before it was made free to play (and I'm positive I got it on discount), but every dlc I've gotten for it has been on giveaway because I just didn't enjoy the base game enough to spend any additional money on it.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a really great game. Ive played it before and after the 2.0 update, but did wait for lots of bug fixes. I totally understand why its reputation is what it is, but ultimately it’s really a bummer it was so rushed to release by the collars because it tainted the legacy of what (imo) would have otherwise been an all-time great game

The data issue with Lenovo is not the only reason why I won’t buy Chinese products. Firstly, all these Chinese technology companies DO have relationships with the military. I don’t think people realise how sinister China really is. Secondly, these chinese companies can’t invent anything they just steal everyone else’s IP and ideas. Arguably Lenovo is most well known for thinkpad, but it’s an IP they bought. Thirdly, Chinese companies genuinely don’t have high QC or quality products and have terrible customer service they’re just a shallow imitation of other IP.

The only point I'm going to argue is the last point. All the stuff you use is made in China, It's not that they have bad QC. It's that cheap company still make cheap crap regardless of the Continent or government body.

@@Dracossaint no it’s because the foreign companies make sure that the QC is done correctly. I live in HK and I deal with this issue regularly. The other factor is that I know for a fact that the stuff they sell to locals is of an even lower QC quality compared to what they send abroad. I agree that cheap crap will always be cheap crap, but there is more to it in this case.
