Indeed. We have adopted rescue cats as well as purebreds. WHen we have purchased a special purebred, we give the shelter an equal donation. We love them all, but the rescue cats seem more people oriented. They know things...

Why are people so down on people who want Purebreds, be a cat or dog. I believe most people who have pure breds; adopt also. I have had purebreds, mostly cats and also shelter cats. It is beautiful whether you adopt or shop, you are giving an animal a home.
