If your crosshair is on an enemy you will run faster than them regardless of armor, it's the chase mechanic.

They recently reduced the effectiveness of the chase mechanic, so people with light/no armor have a higher chance of getting away.

Professional advice: with the longsword, press x, then 2. You will unscrew your pommel and throw it, ending the enemy rightly.

It's really good. Think Mount and Blade multiplayer and Chivalry, but evolved and polished with deeper mechanics and systems at work. Easy to pick up and play, but hard to master, as it should be. It has a tutorial that introduces you to all the possible things you can do. There are ways to deal with anything. It's very well designed and implemented. I've been having a blast. I played a bit of Mount and Blade well after it released (and was terrible at it) and I played Chivalry up until it was ruined with animation and hitbox glitch abuse. Mordhau is hands down much better than anything similar that I've played. Even when you're getting destroyed it's a blast, and I got destroyed a lot at first, lol.

I just absolutely lost it on the guys suiciding on the spikes. Mordhau's ragdolls are hilarious, even moreso when people just get vaccuum'd into the spikes.

the trick is to not take the game seriously at all :)

I don't now how people enjoy front lines, when I asked people they said they most liked the rage in chat. Afterall all front lines is is: Run out of spawn, prolly kill some dudes then get killed outta nowhere, and repeat. And the kills arent even that skillful, theres too much going on to fight one guy using the full extent of the melee system. Its fun for about half an hour then it gets old.
