Remember how one of the original selling points of this game over chivalry was that it would prevent people from doing spins and shit.

games like this are always awful after there is a developed dueling community who perfectly knows how to abuse all game mechanics. I wish there was a way to make a medieval fighter game that didn't turn out like chivalry or mordhau no matter how experienced you got.

Even the worst fighting games have better consistency and more grounded mechanics. Playing MvC may look like an absolute autism simulator at times but it takes a huge amount of skill as opposed to just trying to be as random, wonky and glitchy possible with your animations. It's just that in fighting games, you can't really cheese someone that's several times better than you because you're allowed to make mistakes and make adjustments for longer than just 2-3 hits. Mordhau, you get gimmicked the fuck out of a round in 2-3 hits and even if the dude isn't that much better than you, he still has that one win over you so he can feel better about himself even if you beat him 5 times in a row after that.

these are the same guys that be like "why is mord dead I dont get it", YOU killed the game not the shit non updating devs

As much as I agree, people just don't give a shit about games like these. And I get it, but I play mordhau at least once a day just to smash heads and 360 kick people. It's just fun af. Also idk why you called him out, really good players never just gang up on new players(unless they run around RDMing or just being shit heads). I personally saw a rank 5 and helped him get better. At the end of the day it just comes down to content, and with attention spans being as short as a flies life, it will never work. The game is cool af, but no one wants to invest 300 hours to get decent unless there is content and a player base. Also fuck the devs

@@mountagony4776 some people are just not good at games, just look at me. Lv 90 and I can barely parry zwei drags, I can't do a lot of things and I even met lv's 80's and 60's who keep farming me. You need to understand that some people need more time to become good. Kind of a rant there, but not everyone is equal

Green man has some nice skills! I fell in love with this game just yesterday. Played for 9 hours straight. I tried chivalry 2 as well. It's also excellent, but there is something to Mordhau that I like slightly better. I'm a bit late to the party. First day playing. So, stinky little noob here; and im getting ran through by everyone, haha. It's swetty fun. I can absolutely see the appeal. I honestly couldn't stop laughing, all the jesters, bards, the taunting, the roll playing, and the ways I was getting merked. It's genuinely a phenomenal experience. Just gotta put my ego aside, have fun, and see if I can make it through the honeymoon phase lol. Ill probably be food for better scrubs, and experts for a while. Still, your videos could be a solid pick me up. Keep it up, you pack a punch!

Damn, now I remember actually getting 28/30 of the achievements when the game was more about fun. I wish i could get the last 2 but I just can't gather the will to confront spinning tryhards with 40 feints per second.

Tryhards ruined a perfectly good game by optimizing all the fun out of combat.

It's been a couple of days and I'm learning which movements are best for each weapon. It's also shit that there are no updated guides, but hey, you can see that there aren't things from 4 years ago, implying that it has been nerf-based polish. Nothing like a 15-minute defense with two bards giving their all at the top of a tower, to continue training. (google traductor)

It reminds me of the Chivalry 1 era there was lot of dancer-fencing 😂

The reason I uninstalled this game, just play it alone . me level 1 playing against level 100 no-lifers, and then they fuck me up and ridicule me. When the enemy starts with that stupid feinting and stuff, you know it's not going to be fun. Same in Counter Strike where you ahve some Russian white trash having 6000 hours play time but play against you bc they bail every second game

I feel you man. A lot of people quit Mordhau for the same reason! If you ever come back to Mordhau Goofy Ahh servers have opened up a training server to improve old/new players. The game is dying slowly however we are here to help players learn! I'm not the best but I try to make a difference.

@@marshltd6141The game is dying because only the sweatiest, most degenerate, toxic wastes of oxygen remain. Everyone else is simply not having fun. Getting steamrolled by a naked nolifer with a maul every match is not fun. Not being able to actually play the game because 90% of enemies are simply way better than you is not fun. And the more low-skilled people leave, the less fun remains for the high-skilled, because now they have nobody to steamroll, and then they also leave. And the only players who remain are the absolutely top tier nolifers and tryhards.

I stumbled across this video by chance. Played it from release until about a year ago. I wasn't good and it was the first of its kind for me. I'm now around level 80, and many people think that I must be good then. No, sir, I played a lot... but was just a punching bag for most people. And that's exactly why I don't feel like touching it again, because the ones that are still there are ruining my gaming experience even more than before. And it's not because they're better. It's just the way better people treat you. Well, then just play with your little group, please.

It all has aspects to help you enjoy the game. That also means that you don't mix advanced people with noobies all the time

Mordhau is tough man. I'm taking a break atm. Best thing to do is try to take mordhau at your pace and slowly improve. You will die a million times and each death you will learn something new!
