The reason some people just stop is because they get black screened. Its been happening a lot including myself. It occurs like every minute or two and it lasts for like 15-30 seconds. Which sucks because it only happens to me in this game.

Don’t fall for it again, then your stuck for another 500 hours

I almost couldn't believe my eyes watching that guy feint 5 times in a row....then miss! What even. Do you have any advice for dealing with enemies with long poky weapons? It's so hard to get in range sometimes and quarterstaff stun-lock hell is frustrating.

If they do a stab, it's your time to advance into your weapon's range. Sprint forward and chamber it, and then if you have something faster, keep going for those chambers. Chamber feint, too. It forces premature parries most of the time, so you can land a hit easily.

For long stabby weapons, chambers are your friend (also for feint spams). Spears are quite easy to predict as ppl usually just spam stab or feint stab (slash doesn't do much dmg). Sideways movement is also good option against stabbers. For other long weapons not primarily for stabbing, such as polehammer, poleaxe, halberd, depending what weapon you have, you could either facehug with faster weapon and just hit first, if you also have long weapons, footwork is key by staying just outside the striking distance and kinda hop in and out of the striking distance and try to bait a swing and footwork away to cause miss -> punish before opponent can parry. If you are close, you can run away from the swings and towards the enemy, try to run around the enemy as close as you can, this will usually result in miss or flinch but can also backfire badly. For quarterstaff, you should try to keep your distance for easier parrying and try to get a ripostes to maintain some initiative. If you survive long enough there is good chance the quarterstaff guy runs out of juice before you do, kicks are also option here if you have much slower weapon. You could also try feinting since you probably would need just one hit, but chances are you'll get punished so use with caution. But basically the main tactic for quarterstaff is to be hyper aggressive and keep striking, if you lose initiative with Qstaff and have to defend you can lose stamina very fast and then its gg. Main counter for hyper aggression is kicks, and backing away. TLDR: For stabs -> use chambers, sideway movement For Qstaff -> kicks, keep distance Not sure if I really answered to your question but hope this helps someone :)

@@user-tj5yg5pk8v If by "content" you mean voice packs and some cosmetics, and by "always" you mean once a year or less, then sure. Substantial patches have been non-existant for a while now. They are working on a new game right now so very unlikely to see much more content added.

I wonder under what damage I will get flinched/flinch my victim? And when you get flinched you can't do anything with your weapons? And how long will this flinch debuff last?

A flinch is when your attack is canceled when you take damage. You cannot be flinched during a riposte.
