I hope this does well for you guys, but the lack of maps and overall content in this game compared to Chivalry (admittedly a lot of that was fan content) even after years is unfortunate. There's tons of weapons, the gameplay is very solid, and so on. But we really could use more maps and variations on core game modes. This game has far more potential than it has reached.

@TRITERNION I used to play Mordhau pretty frequently on PC (~500 hours) since release. I come from Chivalry 1 and Mordhau felt like a huge upgrade compared to that. I bought all available DLC in order to support the developers. But I have stopped playing this game mainly because of constant worsening of the ticket loss issue on PC (as far as I know you've changed the server hoster to a cheaper and worse one). Mordhau has also a pretty low learning curve which means that one needs to spend hundreds of hours until one reaches a very good skill level. The support with new maps wasn't quite was I expected. I was glad if every six months a new map update would happen. But even that stopped. Only hardcore players or noobs on the free weekends still play this game. This is sad. I hope that you will fix all of the problems I have mentioned in Mordhau 2.

i have only on grudge with this game, i dislike when i am playing mordhau and suddenly in the middle of a duel i am suddenly put to 435 ping randomly for 3 seconds and then am completely annihilated

Please try to take all the Detractors with a hefty grain of Salt, Mordhau does Have issues but so does every game. Mordhau’s great, please give it a fair go. For those saying chivalry clone, Uh- Yes and No, Mordhau was inspired by Chivalry 1. Chivalry 2 came out after Mordhau. Now Mordhau is getting a Console Port, Mordhau came out in 2019. Having had played both Mordhau and some Chiv 2 they are very different games when it comes to how they play. But aside from gameplay I’d like to shout out that Mordhau has orders of magnitude more cosmetics and customization than Chivalry 2 and aside from like 5 or 6 armor sets and pieces they’re bought with in game gold, which is not a premium currency. In fact there’s no premium currencies, pay to win, or any egregious monetization practices of any kind. The sheer lack of Expensive And/Or Numerous microtransactions and continued support for the game over the years tells me the Devs have a genuine interest in making this game as good as it can be, The server issues often mentioned aren't really within the Dev's control- nor their fault, they use Playfab for their backend which retains a whopping 99% uptime. status.playfab.com (Some people just can't handle 16 hours without Mordhau.) Triternion as a game development studio has at most 50 and as Little as 16 employees according to their LinkedIn, And not all those are going to be actual developers adding content to the game- Perhaps you don't think it due to how the game looks but Mordhau is an Indie game. Triternion are also all across the world, they work remotely from their home countries to piece together content for the game. And yes, The game is still getting support, Don't listen to the people saying they don't work on it- there's a new map in the works and maps usually have 3 or 4 variations for the different game modes. I can’t endorse this game enough if you’re thinking about trying it out, but I will admit it has a steep learning curve- you can do the in game tutorial and you should, but you’ll do most your learning against other players. The most powerful weapon in Mordhau is a good attitude and willingness to learn and lose along the way. And one last thing, Mordhau has previously had a very Toxic community- It's been curbed by an active Moderation team over time. Some people who I know to be banned on official servers and on community servers who're complaining about lag in this very comments section are people who I also know to have actively DDOS'd official and community servers. It's very hypocritical and they know it, they don't care about honesty. They just want to ruin the game for you before you even try it.

Those are lies, you can't work for them if you are not willing to move to Ljubljana, Slovenia. And being a mod on their server doesn't count as work, if you think that they will send a copy of their dev build to a new dev that is x km away, then you couldn't be more wrong. Bad Actors are everywhere, you could create high level cheats/server attacks (in general find security flaws) The devs are lazy because we ask for something and they give something entirely else in return. There are so many ways of making the game better and also increase the player count, why aren't they adding seasonal content to the game like simple snowballs in winter, or pumpkins on Halloween, they feed you a new map every year with a paid dlc. Sometimes they struck gold by adding something new like voices or new weapons or gameplay mechanics (or a new gender xd), but most of the hate for the game is for a reason. Idk how things work there but from what I can see the main heads of the company are wiping their arses with dollar bills and costing the company 90% of the income, there is no other reason for the game to not get any new gameplay-based updates. closet-cheaters roaming the game for eternity, bad server optimization (cause of bad ping and packet losses), no gameplay-based updates (like no new mechanics (only sometimes in rare cases)) I may be wrong because I don't know when they started to develop the console port but I sure know that if they had put most of the income into the game by developing even more stuff (gameplay-based) then this game would had around 10-30k players non stop

@@jordanmarazzi3548 I do prefer it over Chivalry 2 because I hate playing with PC players. I wouldn’t recommend it for PS4 because it will be 30fps for you against 60fps PS5 players. It’s all about having fair competition. Because otherwise what’s the point in getting better when you’re handicapped in one way or another compared to other players.

@@jordanmarazzi3548 PC players can use ultrawide displays with high refresh rates like 240hz and set their graphics to low so their fps is in the hundreds which gives massive advantage plus the mouse and keyboard controls. There are some hackers as well.

At peek times the player count on PC is around 1.3k so depending on how well the game does on console might be best for u to stay away vs playing on servers 1000s of miles away and I don't think they ever plan on releasing on game pass

I've played this game a lot on the pc, and the most major one is the actual fluidity of the movement and the weapons, way more smoother and satisfying in Mordhau
