@@wololo3781 The problem is that you find more people on a graveyard than on a large gamemode server. And there are multiple reasons for that so yes: Why not bring back some gamemodes that were actually played? Mordhau´s big maps are beautiful but they are also unfit for what the game was made for. But this discussion leads nowhere because the game is dead anyway, sadly.

@@wololo3781 BR was initially shut down because of a lack of player interest. But if BR was implemented as a temporary event, let's say on one weekend every month, I think it could get some players more interested in the game, if only for these periods.

Yes this is awesome! Always wanted to get this game, unfortunately I have no pc… chivalry 2 is fun but as a cosmetic person only being able to change helmet and rest of the body was a bit dissapointing.

Yeah the customization in Mordhau is so much better than in chiv 2. Pretty much everything about Mord is better honestly. I played chiv 2 for like 30 hours then I got bored and went back to mord, going over 500 hours now still addicted to it

@@unscathedpotato Problem with mordhau is they let it break exactly in the specific ways they said they wouldn't. They added so many good mechanics in order to get rid of the need for broken animations, so that accels and drags were mechanics you could play around instead of need, and then when players discovered how to break drags anyway they went "woops, all looks good here" and let the game die. Everything else about mordhau is brilliant. Customization is great, combat is engaging and skill expressive, maps are pretty, archers are strong but not frustrating, and ranked system is mostly enjoyable. But they just refuse to fix drags, and for this reason, Mordhau will sadly lose to Chivalry 2. When they announced Chiv2 I had 0 hope, it looked watered down and less skillful, but after actually playing it I can see why it is doing so well. Matches feel cinematic, teamwork is much better encouraged with less chances of fucking teammates over when fighting in groups, there are dedicated 1vX mechanics, and you can interact with a great variety of props and things. It feels much better fleshed out even if I would like Mordhau's combat better if they fixed the drag issues.

You made my dream come true Triternion along with other console users thank you for making the console ports for this incredible Multiplayer game since a lot of us dint had the chance to play it in 2019 either because we dint had a gaming PC capable of running any game or we just dint knew about the title. I'm just glad now as Chivalry 2 player now can finally get a chance to play not only Chiv but also this similar title that you guys did inspire by your love for Chivalry as well. Can wait to get a physical copy if you guys thinking about making too or at the very least just get to play it by pre-Ordering digitally

dude i wished for this three years ago, i finally got it a year ago, and now i wonder... is it just going to be a complex version of chivalry 2?

I just want to say this: I love this game so much. Mordhau is definitely one of my favorite games, & I think people should cut you devs some slack. I'm sure you're working on it when you have the chance, & I am optimistic for the future of Mordhau. Thank you for so much for this awesome &, unfortunately underrated, game!

I know that they aren't going to add new maps because it wasn't shown like you said. I made this comment because of my disappointment of this announcement, the reason to that is because Triternion probably won't make mordhau cross-platform because the skill gap that will be made because of the combat system and they haven't announced anything new to the combat system meaning this update will be most likely useless in the eyes of the pc players

It would honestly be better to not have that in games like Mordhau on their own, but with Mordhau itself being a fairly old game by now alongside being full of at least intermediate players or better, it would be a really god awful experience for console because they just wouldn’t be able to keep up with PC. Coming off of Chivalry 2, the last time console players made the top 5 in most of the full matches I’ve played was about a month after release. Nowadays PC players that have learned the controls can pretty handily stomp a decent console player, and Chivalry 2 hasn’t even been out for a year as opposed to Mordhau being out for several. I can’t even begin to imagine how many times the PC sweats would flawless the console noobs, especially since Mordhau has an extra layer to combat in the form of direction being important unlike in Chivalry 2.

Can't wait for console, thank you!

After ages waiting for it and ending up buying a pc to even play this and other games, finally after literal centuries its coming to console, happy tk say I saw the progress of the console mechanics upgrade and get better on Mordhau while on pc. Well done lads!

As a Mordhau veteran with 2,850 h, I warn all the new players. This guy is lying. You only became toxic if you are toxic to begin with. Mordhau is a fun game if you don't take it seriously and play with friends if you are beginning your journey. (especially in this new era of Mordhau) Since a lot of "Vet" player like that guy above don't go easy on new players and will just use cheesy moves that you are not used to, to farm you. Or, mechanics that you will take a long time to learn if you are not a natural. (Like Drags and Accel) which also can be "locked" if you don't have a good computer or internet connexion. For example, If you have a low specs pc, like less than 100 fps, trying to play this game "seriously" is useless since you will not be able to read excel that duel players do a lot. So just have fun don't be toxic and if a vet player starts to piss you off pick a bow and target 'em the whole game! :D That is not a bad play since you're just doing a favor to your team by not becoming a heath bag for the try hard and you are killing them. 👍 You can use lots of weird loadout, play as a dwarf, peasant, naked dude with a bear trap, emotes a ton instead of using the chat. Or just customise your characters to your preferences and make some dope mercenaries.

Well, let's hope this will mean new content for the PC version, I stopped playing since we don't even get a new map once a year. I prefer Mordhau combat over system Chivalry 2 combat, but at least Chivalry 2 is alive (that that healthy tho...) I would love to have real reasons to come back to the game, even if I have to pay for it, but it will take some serious work for this !

Chiv 2 has only slightly more players, even though it's way newer. 2k vs 2.5k at peak hours, so not sure what you mean by alive.

@@Lilliathi That's 2200 vs 2800, but this is only for Steam. For PC you have to take Epic player base in account, which is bigger than Steam, and matches are cross plateforme with Xbox and Playstation where it is the only game of this kind. In the end, all these mixed up make it a much bigger player base, enough to be healthy which is not the case of Mordhau.
