I love how half of these looked incredibly detailed and well animated, while others were stiff doodles or goofy images at times. It just summarizes Mordetwi perfectly, how it's a ship that is taken seriously but not too seriously lmao well done guys.

Yeah this is a lot different from normal maps that have some really great animations along with the kinda bad ones sometimes and the only okay ones. By the okay ones I mean that it’s kinda obvious they are just dragging some things along with rotating along with some rough backgrounds and line art

I always mistaken this song as a bright song about airplanes when I was a kid. Now, as I get older, the more meaning I catch from it.

Flutty's, Shandeez's, Lazyule's and Leafcup's parts were definetly my favorite. The defined nostrils and masterful movement on the realistic twilight on Leafcups part truly blew me away.

It's funny because even though the pairing itself started from a fanfiction called "Earthworm Zim", Zim had barely anything to do with Mordecai and Twilight's relationship, much less a lot of the stuff that happened in the story.

@@kimifw58 Yeah, the ship originated from a fanfiction (specifically the fans/readers of the story), not the drawing by a 9 year old. Oh BTW, they were just friends in that arc that inspired the shipping, but their interaction was so sweet and the writing/story (in that arc at least) was so good.

The Airplanes meme? I'm not sure myself either. To be honest, I don't get why there have been a lot of artists in the 2010s that remade that Airplanes art and then also act like it (the actual pairing itself) is the worst thing in the world. But I guess that's the irony bit of it? To explain how the Mordecai x Twilight pairing got started is really simple: they had a really nice friendship in a (somewhat popular at the time on DeviantArt) fanfiction, and there was one scene where Mordecai is consoling Twilight from a heartbreak. The fic's called "Earthworm Zim" BTW, in case anyone's curious.

It started with a weird multi crossover fanfic. Someone drew fan art of a scene from it but had Twlight and Mordecai singing the lyrics and one thing lead to another. There’s actually a video on KZread that explains it better
