With an ultimate that doesn't stun, slow, inmobilize or deal big damage.. only forces a 1v1 in a space made for Morde a champ with no movement, CAN reach the enemy. But with one item just made a champ a walking iron man easy to dodge :/

Don't forget it also gets blocked by Yasuo wind wall and Samira even if you already landed it. Clicking R to drag them back in counts as a projectile for some reason. So you can land your ult, and if they throw up a wind wall it doesn't matter and they can avoid getting pulled anyways.

Oh boy, looks like mordekaiser ult is now a seven second airborne...who woulda guessed theyd give him that too?

Now it basically counts as a knock-up effect if you think about it since you can still block it if you go unstoppable before the cast goes off but once it happens you can no longer do anything about it. So pretty much the same way knock-up works (Olaf can use R to break free from a stun and if he already is in his R you cannot knock him up but if he is knocked up he cannot press R to get out of it anymore).

Yeah I feel like there has to be a skin coming because this feels unnecessary. The item changes make sense, but making it so you don't even have a counter pick is odd. Or it could be a case by case thing, idk how an empowered W from Rengar or a literal ult from Alistair don't cleanse this. On the list of champs that actually need this kind of help, Morde isn't even on the list, not low, but literally non-existent.

Malzahar has the benefit that: 1. he is a mage, so he doesn't need to walk up to do damage, 2. His ult actually guarantees damage, unlike Morde, and 3. His ult doesn't just limit your movement range, it full on removes it along with everything else you can do for 5 seconds. A cleanse doesn't even stop the damage, just the lock. So while I could see the same treatment for Malz if they add a lot more cleanses, I doubt they'll let him have it anytime soon.

​@inktheskeleton7533 It also locks malzahar in place for the duration, Prevents any further spell casts. What's so awful about this ult compared to something like we ult or fiddlesticks doing fundamentally the same thing with empowered R+W.

I think they should let champion abilities as is and only change items to not cleanse his ult. Actually, make it so you need the full QSS item to clear supressions, so you have to really go all in to be able to counter Malzahar, Warwick and Skarner ultimates, because being countered by a half-assed 1.3k gold item is not really nice.

I simply think your logic here is flawed, spending 1,3k on a useless 30 mr item that doesnt build into anything for 90% of people who build it, is already extremely punishing(it should be when you specifically counter a champions ultimate with it). This is 1,3k that isnt spend on damage, or useful tank stats. Let's not forget how many ultimates get countered by simply having cleanse as a summoner spell too.

Hey vandiril i had a bug while i played shaco supp and i went to kill enemy aurelion sol abd we kill each other it gave the kill to my mid(annie) who didnt even close to it or attack hin at all is it related to hextec soul or any item or just bug?

Fun Fact: You can time holding Warwick’s Q to cancel Mordekaiser’s ult, because it counts as a displacement and Warwick is immune to those during his held Q

Time to see if they undo all the buffs they gave him to compensate for not having an R depending on match up (Q isolated damage increase, w passive increase, pasive ms increase, E mpen increased)

All of these “buffs” are QoL changes. So that he does not completely suck in any matchup. Fact of reality is, he is still very kite-able by Quinn, Fizz and the likes. Also, this is a bug/design oversight fix. Going to another map should never have been a “CC” effect…. Otherwise, by similar logic, you should be able to QSS Jarvan’s ult and Anivia wall, because reasons.

Morde is too strong as is, this buff is just going to make him the next perma-banned champion. Either that or they're probably going to gut everything else about him down the road. Mark my words. I feel bad for Mordekaiser mains. They got a better R, but everything else will be nerfed to compensate eventually, making this change a bit useless in the end. Not that I care, though. I don't play league anymore.

Why would it break him? All the change did was make some matchups more playable. Especially in higher ranks you rarely see anyone buying QSS for Morde anyways. Item completion is so bad and only limited to crit item. Morde has clear weaknesses. He's big and slow and kiteable. A number of meta champs can either duel him or kite him with relative ease. I'd assume my Hwei with Seraphs and Fear and Ult won't die to Morde in brazil. Or my Asol that can glide over walls and perma slow him. Or my Azir that has a dash + shield and an ult to toss Morde away. My ahri with 10 dashes. Akali with shroud and dashes etc etc. Morde's gonna be better for sure but definitely not broken

@@Spygon in yorick's case that is a fair point because he's countered very hard by Mordekaiser, and if he is your main, then you will definitely find it harder to play vs him. Thats just a counter matchup moment. But from a general standpoint I don't think it will be an issue for most bruisers. Id recommend going for a kaenic rookern at some point for Morde (unless you're going for lethality setup, then idk how good it is). I'm not a yorick player so I cant give any MU advice

To be fair it is quite weird that qss and other such effects just took you away from the realm. It always should have only deleted the debuff, but keep the enemy inside the realm imo

but now every champ he face is gonna have an extra 1300g. Morde is also removing his own teamfight presence. If he builds tank, his team loses a tank that may not be able to tank when the duel finishes. If he builds AP, he probably doesn't deal enough damage before getting mauled by the legendary ADC (it's a duel, which means ADC die slower).

@@Briezar You can still trap the adc for 7 seconds in a teamfight. Use zhonya and W for durability, your team can 4v4 right? If you are fed you can R and kill the adc, if you are weak, ult and trap the adc.

@@Briezar You don't seem to understand what this means. In every fight that happens around the dragon/baron, mordekaiser will just ult the jungler and there is literally nothing they can do. They won't ever get a single objective late game

@@captain7883 Mord removes their junglers, the enemy team still has their top laners and adc to force enemy jungler off the objective. Its all cost benefit, yeah you can get the objective that doesn't ensure you team can win that team fight.

I fckin hate this.. I mean I play morde too but I'm pretty much a rengar otp.. and I play him top a lot. that makes the matchup unplayable. I mean that's the only counterplay you have vs morde!! What's riot smoking?!

Fioras W used to stun the enemy if you parry morde's ult. It looks like his ult doesnt count as hard cc anymore

Gods, that's such cancer. People aren't getting that this interaction was preventative. Now that he can ult whoever he wants with no issue, his pick rate and performance are gonna skyrocket.

Agreed. Also, this is just coding oversight. Imagine if Jarvan’s wall was coded as “CC”…. And could be cleansed. That just does not make sense at all. Likewise, Morde takes you to another map segment. Where you can still move, act etc. It should not be a CC effect.

Now his ult makes sense. Its never supposed to be treated as a CC after it hits, either do something about it before you get hit (wich honestly he takes a while before ulting and the range is so lame you can just tell when ppl want to ult you) or just suffer the consequences... and there are not many consequences, Mordekaiser is a LoL 1 champion. Most players use the LoL 2 champions (LoL 2 is after kai'sa) and almost all of then have a dash of some sort...

You can also prevent Mordekaiser R with Shyvana R if well timed

Finally this buff was needed imo. Seeing a barbarian, pirate exc. Getting out of Mordekaiser's ult by pressing one button even if they are in it was pretty dumb and skilless, now you have to predict the ult and take action.

yeah because Morderkaiser is all about skill expression and 99% of the time won't kill you in his ult without landing a SINGLE Q spell nah even more disgusting is nashor thoot + riley so he doesn't need to hit anything just auto 3 times and then you can't escape him because perma slow

i think its fair they at least have some counter play against the cast, its a small window which takes skills.
