MORCOTE was voted the "Most Beautiful Village in Switzerland 2016"
The village is located on the shores of Lake Lugano. It is between a mountain and a Lake.
MORCOTE is also known as the "Pearl of a Ceresio" characterised by it's architectural monuments and it's natural beauty!
In Morcote, you can't leave without visiting the Botanical Garden called "PARCO SCHERRER" A unique atmosphere lingers on lake lugano. The Park consists of two areas with distinct styles; Asian and Mediterenean. Along the course there are some corners where you can sit in the shades and enjoy the Panoramic view of the Lake.
