AIC are iconic, they may not have been the highest selling band ever but they were one of a kind and extremely influential as well as being highly respected by pretty much all their peers at the time. A fuckin iconic legendary incredibly influential band is what AiC was at their peak and still are a kickass band all these years later

... and it was one of the better renditions done here too. Funny thing is, almost everyone would proclaim Taylor Hawkins a significantly greater drummer (and in technical skills, for sure)... but I think what Duff played fit the song better than what Taylor did on his. Talyor's group's version seemed too loose and off to me, for professionals.

I dug it, but I thought it was too safe. I don’t really see the point of covers that closely resemble the original. The whole point in my opinion is to honor the original, while also adding your own uniqueness to it. Aside from Fieldy’s bass which is just expected at this point, I didn’t really hear nearly as much as I wanted of Korn’s signature sound. Jon sounded nice, but he always does.

man aic showed me you didnt have to suck helium to sing heavy music. i think we forgot that during the 80s. i have such fond memories of seeing them live even though they imploded on stage night 1. me and my mate used to crank dirt and annoy the neighbours by singing along. they opened my musical experience and elevated my abilities and im forever grateful. oh and lily....you slayed girl. i love that song. its nutshells cousin and shes beautiful.. not in a creepy way. that smile man.

I'm over the moon to see Alice get this award. This was hard to watch at time's, especially the part dedicated to Layne and Mike, it still hurts even now. Congratulations and thank you for all the years of good music and many many more. Love you all. I loved seeing Lily perform, she's beautiful and talented, and a credit to Susan and Chris.

This is probably the most beautiful thing that’s come out from this shit show of a year. Layne and Mike would be proud. Long live Alice!

When brilliant musicians struggle to be able to cover your band - that must be the greatest tribute. Enjoyed it very much, thanks!

The whole video was beautiful, but the best part of all was when Krist Novoselic and Kim Thayil appears, 2 big faces of grunge playing Alice in Chains, that was beatufiul.

No one deserves this award more than AIC. The influence they've had on so many. Personally they have been my rock for the past 25 years. I love them so much. God bless and many more years to go.

Dallas Green/City and Colour always reveals a different type of sorrow when he covers AoC songs. It’s heart wrenchingly gorgeous!!! Especially this song, which, to be honest, I didn’t think he was going to pull off. Shame on me for doubting him, as I know better. Congratulations to AoC, they deserve this recognition. They are, in my opinion, the best hard rock band on planet Earth. Peace and respect. 🙏🏻

Lily Cornell absolutely slayed that. So did Korn, so did Mastodon, so did Dallas, so did everyone. But Lily's performance had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. Unbelievably well done!
