MOPAR MANIA! First Generation Chargers, Challengers and MORE!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Episode 49 of ‘Cars, Shops & Collections’ is a Mopar lovers dream! We meet up with Doug Reynolds who has been building and restoring cars his entire life. Doug’s collection is incredible… From a ratty UNTOUCHED 1970 Dodge Challenger RT to an IMPECCABLE 1968 Hemi Charger that was the first Dodge Charger ever sold in Las Vegas!
You are going to love Doug’s story! Doug was stationed at Nellis Air Force in the late 60’s and when he finished serving our country, he planted his roots in Las Vegas and has called Vegas home ever since.
You can see some of Doug’s classics at Muscle Cars at The Strip - Happening at Las Vegas Motor Speedway March 17-19, 2023
This episode includes:
A 1968 Dodge Charger that was the first one EVER sold in Las Vegas. Doug shares the backstory on the sale of this Charger from Walter Epprecht Dodge and how he came to acquire the car.
An untouched 1970 Dodge Challenger RT!
1971 Dodge Challenger Convertible RT!
A 1968 Dodge Charger - 440 4 Speed!
A 1968 Dodge Charger - Hemi Automatic!
A 1929 Dodge Rat Rod Truck!
A RATTY but soon to be restored Grand National!
1969 Plymouth Barracuda!
A BIG thank you to Doug for his service to our country and for opening up his collection to us. And thank you to Phil Painter from MATSLV for making this wonderful introduction!
Be sure and check out other episodes of “Cars, Shops & Collections.” Every week I feature the stories behind classic cars and the people that own them.

Doug has a great collection I have been a mopar guy since I was a kid started buying car mags and they were all Mopar magazines and then into the cars when I was old enough. My first car was a mopar it was a 1979 Dodge Aspen and my first muscle car was a 1972 Road runner with a 440 it was plumb crazy with black interior and it's been nothing but Mopars ever since

True. The Coronet was close as it came to the 66 67 first generation fastback Chargers.
The title said first generation Chargers. This is all second generation Chargers, challengers and Plymouths. One first generation Charger. Still a great Mopar video.
