Some epic riding out in the Akatarawa Forest. Located in the Wellington Region the Akatarawa Forest has some of New Zealand's best dirtbike trail riding. This was mostly the A/B loop. Couldn't fit the Enduro Loop in this video so will create a part 2. Enjoy!

Haha! exactly right mate!
Guys riding trails with mx bikes on skinny high pressure tires remind me of the kids with rubber band tires on their jacked up 4x4 trucks.

What’s the best way around this track I seen the map it looks all over the place so u have to stay in the motorcycle parts?

You can go just about anywhere in the Akas. This was a trail ride so there are parts you can ride as it started off at Kapi Mana MX. Lots of single track trails that branch off from the main track too.

Im from morrinsville i want to come when is the ride on next whats the website with details etc or facebook page so i can make sure i make it lol book a week or two roll down south with the bikes be sick as

Hey mate, no dates planned but I’d say they will do again next year maybe feb march. Be sure to check out silver bullet in the welly region anyway. Alternatively you can ride in here for free anytime.
