Hi Krellic. About fishing planet I don't understand what happens in competitions in general. For example, following this guide, I get very good catches of gar when I fish out of competition but when I enter the competition there are very few fish. It is no coincidence, it always happens in competitions, although I follow the tutorials. I play on mac and I don't know if it depends on the platforms. I don't pretend to win, but neither do I fish far below my norm. Thanks and Merry Christmas ;-)

Are you practicing before entering a comp? If so always safe to advance time to the next day. The fish you catch in practice before entering can hurt a lot. I even travel to global screen and back to lake before a comp starts if I catch anything before a comp. ALSO, Gars have never been a very consistent comp. You can either get them to bite or have many misses. It's something we can't control sadly. If you had a bad comp, your next one will be a good one ;) lol good luck!

@@KrellicOG Hello. I also thought that the problem depended on being in the lake before the competition, to train. Today I try STEELHEAD SHOW DOWN and travel to the lake just before the competition! In your video about this competition you recommend the green popper, I have the blue one, do you think it is worth spending 43 baitcoins for green? ;-) Thanks

Marco, I have the same experiences, no matter which competition it is. I never seem to get the same results during the comp as I do when I practice outside of the event. I don't practice right before the event same day either. it's happened too often to be coincidence. I typically finish midpack at just over half whatever number the winner comes in with.

thanks man, right after you cast, pop twice pretty quickly and just hold down the reel in button. So pop pop and reel. Dots wills stay unless you get a miss bite. After a miss, pop pop reel again. After a few times, you'll get it.

Casting seems to be the way to go for many of the comps now. It's weird to an extent lol. Go popper and you won't go back! lol

Ah never thought of trying a major popper, will give it a go next time. Keep it up bud.

It works, just gar comp has always been hit or miss. If you recently had a bad comp, the next one will be better. You can see how many empty casts I had in it also. It's a frustrating comp in general and why I avoid it most of the time unless bored. lol I clicked on the recent top 3 of the last one and they all went with a casting/major popper set up also. You'll have a good next gar comp I'm sure.

1st victory in this comp i added more 2 spots at the local on the right. Casting to the left and to the right of your marker....they give more four gars.
