Can't imagine the pain My mom died when I was too small to remember her and i guess I lucky because my other siblings can't talk properly about her because of the trauma. And I'm literally the only one who came over this and never had any problems with speaking of my mom death.

The worst thing is that he still loved his mother. She made him feel guilty, that he was a murderer since he was a child, but he kept waiting for her forgiveness, for her to hold him instead of hitting him and yelling at him. This scene is too much :'(

The healing he received from having Steven disrupt his life. At first it felt ok if it meant steven had to leave so that Mark could heal but who better than himself to remind him who he is and what he’s capable of. Moonknight is such a great story. I cannot believe it’s not talked about enough.

This scene literally made me cry when his father called him in mother's funeral but he ran away and cried 😢

According to Marc this only happened a couple months before the events of the first episode. Wonder if we'll see him and Steven reconcile with their father in season 2 (if there is one), curious how the two people in one thing will go down.

episode 5 was really emotional, honestly all the trauma that marc and to go through again, and steven learning about his mother’s death. i still haven’t recovered from this episode

I can really understand how Marc felt in that scene. You see, I fell in love with a girl. She was sweet, innocent, kind and energetic. Everything I want in a girl. One day, I told her how I felt and, at first, she rejected me due to someone else. But turned out thay guy was a creep. After that, she told me that, when she's ready for a relationship, she chooses me. 1 day she comes back after 3 months of total silence and I've been waiting for her with high hopes only for her to be in a relationship with her childhood friend. That's, probably, the most insecure I've ever been in my life, cause it made me feel an unwanted, worthless last resort for if things don't go her way. We're not talking anymore, I think. For me, I knew it was going to be harder but that was so much harder than I thought. I mean, how am I supposed to love myself after waiting 3 months for a girl only for her to be off with her childhood friend, who made me think I didn't need to learn to love myself cause she made me feel completely comfortable with myself?
