    As I don't have expensive DAPs/DACs/AMPs I do my testings on my laptop and on my phone(MacBook Pro 2019 & Pixel 6A). So, the thing i want to tell is that, your device have a big impact on the sound you get. Basically my phone doesn’t have a good output, I have never enjoyed a single IEM as i want with them. But the MacBook got a really high quality output and that’s where I do all my testings on music, movies and KZread. I use my phone only for gaming(I'm a intermediate mobile gamer, not a bad gamer😏). As we start our gaming sessions at night, I use these IEMs to test in depth(switching from one to one). So, about the microphone quality of this set, it is really good, my friends can hear me clearly and not like my voice coming from a distance. So this cable is an all-rounder too. Using a different DAC can have an impact on the audio captured through the mic. Here, as they have in house built the whole cable(including DAP and in line mic) they performs really well. I will do some comparisons of this with different cable and DACs in my in depth comparison video. My workflow is pretty slow(due to its format), your patience is highly appreciated😁

    I will move the in depth size and measurement details to my in depth comparison video as it makes sense more, and after this week I'll start all the comparison videos that I've missed(from Sonus).

    Haha, I was surprised too. Hexa and the May are different. Hexa is targeted more for the accuracy of the sound and to deliver the best possible technicalities(I don’t have a unit of Hexa, but my friend have, I did test them borrowing from him) May is for pure entertainment. Clarity and technicalities wise, i pick the Hexa, but the thing you get from the May isn’t possible with the Hexa. This is the first IEM that i have enjoyed for the fullest without any problems(bass don't lack, mids aren’t recessed, highs aren’t overly done). I'd say this is the perfect balance for my preference. First impression was like 50/50, but after burning in, these came to life.(some believe in burn in, some don't. Personally, I notice a big difference with time)

    Hi there. Don't worry about the upload. I was able to see it and thank you for your review. I own the Hiby R3 Sabre 2022 Edition and that allows me to play music via the USB C port either through earphones or via DAC dongles as a transport. I suspect other DAPs can do so as well, but I might be wrong. How do these sound with 4.4mm balanced output from any other cable, it's sound signature? Thank you for the video and keep the good work up!

I watched the SuperReviews' video and he said that, if you want the best out of this IEM, you have to use their own cable with the built is DAP.

    If given choice between Simgot EW200 and 7Hz Sonus, which one you recommend? What exactly are pros and cons of each IEM?

  • @weirdear95

    @weirdear95

    My preference is the Sonus, mainly due to better mid bass and not being sparkly. But the EW200 is something else, it is a masterpiece for the money though I don’t prefer its sound signature. If you don’t mind the Type-C connector and if you find a better deal on May, grab them.

    Sorry bro I've put this comment as my doubt several time but it disappeares after a while.... May be you can see them all... So pls don't think I'm a spammer... Bro after watching your review on moondrop may, i decided to buy it because i like it at all ratio and also it's comes along with a mic... Tnx alot for the accurate reviews.... But sadly it'll take six to seven months for me to make what it costs, so i decided to buy an IEM costs 20USD price range for enjoying the music untill that.... So I've shortlisted Tangzu Wan'er and Kz Castor bass.... Can you pick one from these two.... I need to the songs and durability is also a factor because I'll give this to my brother after i own Moondrop May.... (So he can also make a small step to the real magical world of music a little bit)

The value you get from the Castor is insane. I'm sure that until you upgrade to an expensive one, you can enjoy these for the fullest. Try to find some ear tips. Not sure the ones come will fit you the best. Between these 2, Castor gives the better fit and comfort for me personally.

    unnatural timbre in what way? was considering getting moondrop chus / qkz hbb these cost more than both of those combined so im skeptical, im very sensitive to sibilance. but don't want a veiled dull sounding thing either. Best thing to read on these is no BA's

  • @weirdear95

    @weirdear95

    24 күн бұрын

    Un natural timbre must be coming from the planar. That means the upper range of the frequency spectrum consists of a slight colour and things don't sound natural. Different drivers got a different tone and timbre. It is unique to them and it can be easily noticeable with sensitive ears. If you have sensitivity issues with sibilance, please avoid the Chus. QKZxHBB also got some treble energy, but not much troublesome. Best non offensive option is the 7Hz Zero 2.

  • @alvarg

    @weirdear95 already have zero 2 and find them boring as, I ordered the may already ill see how it goes. I tend to prefer boosted lows a bit of 2-3khz so vocals aren't dull and a dip around 5-7khz to remove sibilance. A bit of air is fine as long as it's smooth
