Today we have a Mooncool TK1 (front hub drive) trike, 48 volt, 500 watt (750 peak) 3 wheeler with 2 racks and front suspension.
I rode the bike until battery died, Got 27.8 miles on throttle only, fairly flat ground here in Florida.
Speed TIMES 0-5 2s 0-10 4s 0-16 7s TOP SPEED 16MPH 7s
On our adventures this day I rode around Crystal river and met some unique people. Rode through the village of Crystal river, visited the deli on way out to Fort island pier boat launch, ran battery totally empty and had to pedal home the last 3 miles until my neighbor John picked me up a little before my house and brought me home.
The bike performed well. Only issues I had was seat kept loosening up, back rest would not stay tight and basket clips let the basket rattle so I used zip ties instead.

Walmart in Canada sells a 24" Hyper brand electric trike for $600 CAD ($450 US) that comes mostly assembled with a rear diff and has free shipping. I just bought one for my mom. Only 250W and 36V battery though.

The Crystal River area seems to give of real nice vibes. A lot of the people you talk to in these videos are pleasant. I'd love to leave the north east for somewhere like that.

You have officially reached 'PIMP' status with that thing. NICE!!!!! Only a matter of time before they make a dual motor fat tire offroad version of that thing.

Really great review! I just got a MoonCool MC 350. The gears, brakes and electronics are the same. The tires, motor, battery and frame are different however. It was interesting to see how similar the assembly was and how you handled the rear basket assembly.

2 miles per ah is great range. The front cables are kind of messy.. Could use some zip ties or Velcro to tidy those.

I think these bikes would be a lot nicer with variable speed throttles. I have a Nakto bike with variable speed throttle. Love it.

I have a Honda CBX 6 cyl 1979 it has 18599 miles on it and I still at 70 plus years old ride it like a mad man when I crank it up. I had it to 150 mph but she will do better. Mint Condition and yearly maintenance and every 3 years new tires. I bought it in 1981 still new. Not one maintenance issue ever. I should not have said that. I blew a Hellcat away a couple weeks ago. I have Handicapped Plates on it and my Leather jacket says " If I race you and you read this I won". Cops chased me once they lost me. Lot of Torque. I burn 100LL mixed with Slick 50 synthetic 5%. Bore scope it looks new in the cylinders. Yep I am Fat & Old but love Big HP like my 68 427 435 HP 4 speed convertible Vett I have owned since I was 17 when I joined the Army. My rich Granny bought it for me. That car is mint and I mean 99%. I took it to Germany for 2 different Tours and Fort Hood Texas 2 Tours. Miss my Granny.
