probably the right decision with that Jb in the bridge, the song requires that more guts than a stock Fender pu. If you watch later performances, Rory seemed to have swapped the bridge pu as well, or least it looks like it

I agree. I don't know how Rory got that almost percussive sound from those single coils, but I couldn't replicate anything even remotely similar. Also I'm not big fan of the brige single coil on strats so decision was easy :)

@@x430c5 He used the bridge/middle split position apparently but yes standard stock Fender bridge pickups are too weak/thin and needs a hotter pickup for Rory's songs, I use a Seymour Duncan TB-4/JB in the bridge with coil split combined with regular middle pickup which gets close when using plenty of compression and overdrive.

Still get the same effect by putting the vibrato on that note on the G string like he did though, I press on the string behind the nut normally unless I'm using a floyd rose guitar where I will pull up on the bridge slightly to get the same effect. All good and a great effort on this song.

Thank you very much Kervin! Yes I used Behringer FCB1010 midi foot controller. Time to time I've been asked to do tutorials of my covers - perhaps I should, need to think about it :)

Really nice! I can play most of these licks since they arent super fast or technical, but man putting it all together note for note like this is pretty amazing considering all the little variations Rory throws in.
