MoonByul said it out of her mouth that its a sexual song between women. This whole album, "6equence" is a story of a couple from the beginning to end. The album is designed like a movie reel... She even wrote "scripts" or "guides" before every track like one would do to "set the scene" (I forgot what that is technically called). Its pretty creative and conceptually very well thought out. As for the m/v... she said that for the beginning its supposed to be like her going through her day, doing things, but always having the other person on her mind. The "slow down" part is when they actually start seeing each other because Seori has made it "home". It's South Korea so them singing to each other, looking at each other, is about all we are going to get. Also, the first couple of times during the chorus when Seori sings it she keeps saying "your lap" and things, but the last chorus when they are looking at each other, MoonByul sings it and she changes it to "my lap".

Yeah.. shit is gay af! LoL This reaction is a gift I was not expecting but damn I'll take it. Moonbyul solo album 'Lunatic' is fire but Shutdown is def one of my favorites songs by her. BTW she wrote this song and it was meant to be what it is.

Moonbyul said this mv potrays the feeling of being smitten by someone you love. She can feel her presence even when she wasn’t there. At the end is actually where Seori is presence and they interacting and acknowledging each other. She met Seori through her radio show and she fell in love with her voice right away and she said she wrote a sexier song already but Shutdown was chosen as it fits Seori’s voice and vibe so well. She kept the other song for her future release.

I think it's a very sensual song, no matter who is singing to who for what reason. SEORI reminds me of Blackpink's Rose'. In that she wasn't sure she had a voice,.... YAH! THAT VOICE she wasn't sure of. So she started putting cover songs out there to see what people said about her vocals. Rose' Does it all of the time. Those 2 voices that could both make you faint dead away, are impressive ones for not being sure about them.
