I hate to break it to you all but Tagalog is not the official language of the Philipines, its Filipino. google it. Sections 6 and 7 of Article XIV of the 1987 Philippine Constitution. The writer and translator should've known that. Its a shame to Filipinos.

"Sana" in English means "I hope/I wish", and "all" which pertains to everyone. So the literal translation is "I hope everyone". It is used to express your wish or desire to have that kind of thing/life they have. So "Sana ol" means "How I wish everyone have that" (how I wish I have that) An example is when someone posted their couple picture, someone is smart/pretty, or someone is living a very good life, when you said "Sana ol", it means "Wow, I wish I also have that". This is a widely known and used expression in the Philippines to express a positive remark of one's possession, achievement, or their life. So SANA OL is an expression word like "Wow" or "That's cool". Whoever thought of sharing "Sana ol" to them is so witty and heartwarming.
