nope now I wont What do you think of smoking a medicinal cannabis infused oil? It says on the package to use only orally under the tongue But I did get super high once vaping\dabbing it on a quartz piece on my beaker tube I wanted to try concentrates with what's on hand (THC- CBD 10%-10%) Is it a good method? Is it bad for my body? Do you suggest anything else?

I actually live on the sun, and this is a common misconception. We have plenty of rocks here and where I live it actually gets a little chilly sometimes… as low as 9,500F sometimes 🥶

Diamonds, coated with FSHO, and then covered with THCA powder. I jokingly called them Jupiter Rocks the first time I tried it.

@Andrew nahhh diamonds are just thc extract, gotta get the terpenes in there too. Flavorrrrr. Plus I’m pretty sure the full spectrum allows for a better fuller high due to the numerous other chemicals that interact with thc and cbd.

@Andrew terpines, baby. Diamonds are great if THC is all you need for your therapy, but when you need the gas that makes you pass out those terpines make more than just a small difference. Not only will it taste better but the terpines introduce an entourage effect.

Yup. I used to work in medical shops. I was actually an activist for better laws in WA and CA as well. I tried to warn every voter who would listen to me that Prop 64 and I-502 were corrupt rags with loopholes that corporations could drive trucks through and they actually supported monopolies..... nobody listened, nobody cared. They voted “yes” on “legal weed” and now we’re stuck with broken laws and a market that becomes more monopolized and concentrated by the day. Good job Americans, keep failing to read the laws you vote for 👍

As an old head who has been Puffing away for over 40 years. Oh how the times havw changed. We used to smoke what we could get(in Canada that was usually v/ good black hash that came in through the port of Montreal, red wrap, gold seal & Romeo & Juliette or shwaggy brown dirt weed from Mexico full of seeds & stems) and we were happy to have anything. No one knew how to grow indoors back then and where I lived the season was not really long enough to bud them. We made our own pipes and bongs and if you were good at it you could sell them to all your buddies. I remember seeing my first glass pipe in 1990 at a Dead show There was a guy, Bob Snodgrass who invented this process to make colour changing glass. I broke so many of his beautiful pipes and wish I had one now. I recall going to my Countrys biggest city, visiting a rock&roll shop and asking this scary looking guy if they sold pipes at all. He took me into this dark back room where they had cheap plastic bongs and some metal pipes but they were so expensive that I could only afford one. This little cheap 1 foot plastic bong cost me $75(that would be over $200 today). When shatter first came on the scene I tried it out and loved it at first, especially live rosin but I now find they affect my lungs so badly that I stick to flower only nowadays. Although that flower is an impressive 28-31%, an unheard of # in my day. I never tried moon rocks because they look really cool but I never understood how to use them without making a big mess and wasting a lot. Maybe if you chopped it down into small enough bits you could hot knife it? That's another thing, I never hear of anyone hot knifing and going around with sores that look like cold sores on thier lips. Lol I fully agree just cuz you can out it together doesn't mean you should.

I think people have lost the concept of the simplicity of smoking pot. Put this in that and put that on this, by the time they're done fiddling with that crap I'd have just packed a bowl and fried out.

I bought moon rocks because a lil pinch was all you needed but they started to get Hella nasty tasting because of the lesser ingredients added up into a nasty poison tasting product. I'm sure it's lesser oils derived from plants full of pesticide.

@@jomanci distillates are just bad period. They can be derived from ANYTHING. I know producers who make distillate out of used spent byproduct from the BHO process. Always go for whole plant extract when you can. Even plain hash is better than distillate

If you try to dab, let it cool down significantly before adding the hash/oil to the heat. The only danger in dabbing is burning your lungs out with hot air that doesnt even have the cannabinoids in it. Dabs are like barbeque low and slow for ultimate flavor.

essentially what i do for moonrock bowls is i sandwich it. I take my flower, put a lil bit of wax, a nice kief layer, and then top it off with more flower so the kief melts with the wax rather than getting torched immediately. I switch it around and surface the kief sometimes, but mostly i just sandwich

Cewpins, I’d like to show you the setup I do, but essentially the best way to consume “moonrocks” is to vaporize with the crafty+ or mighty+. You put flower in first, love resin/rosin on top, keef and they all vaporize fantastic at the triple button push on the crafty+ or 375F on mighty. This has become my go to for smoking.

Im high and tired and your snap editing with varying light levels had me tripping out

One very fun thing ive done was using my leftover decarbed weed, packing a bowl with it, a dispo i had wasnt charging to i took the resin out of it, put that on top, and for fun used kief i had left over. Never know i made an impromptu moonrock

Keeping it real at the end, i like that.

Strange I always knew moon rocks as MDA instead of MDMA. Never heard of this term associated with cannabis before.

Here's a question For easier consumption of higher dosages, using a water bong beaker, Is it effective to use an additional substance to dilute the weed? The idea is taking more hits with a little less weed to make it easier on the throat and taste buds ie Damiana, which I use. Extra info: I tried Damiana in many smoking and vaping forms, it does nothing to me with small, medium, big or huge dosages. And personally I hate its taste in tea, while it doesn't give any effects it is "known for" in the alternative medicine part of the web. Was it a waste to get it? It was before having a real beaker tube, I was subjected to rolling joints

I was wondering what a Sun Rock was, I’ll eventually try one

Back in 2001 we used to make them garbanzo bean size, refrigerate hem so it was easy to handle, then just loaded them one at a time into a bong bowl. I've done it both ways but no one called them Sun Rocks. Just good moon rocks and commercially sold moon rocks (crap weed, keif and oil)

I had an interesting discussion with the proprietor of a high end dispensary the other day. From her, I learned that overpriced carts, these preroll concoctions and edibles are what's driving her profits right now. It's what the people want right now. So viva la difference I guess.

I did a few moonrock bowls before, much cleaner than actual moonnocks nugs, smoking the concentrate adds a ton of terps but I feel you only get like 30% of the thc from the concentrate

I like putting a rock or just a glob on concentrate in a glass blunt. The concentrate will coat the weed as it goes back and you get a second chance to smoke it.

I do appreciate the fact that it’s a pain in the ass to work with them. But in my opinion, I like to roll them into joints mixed with dry flower when I go on hikes. 1, they last longer and 2, I get way more medicated. I found if you try to roll with all moon rocks it just clogs up the J half way through.

You can make moon rocks a LOT less messy to use if you freeze them for a few hours before intended use.

Still think the golden nugget is better. I think it is made a little different. The one I got was somehow a single 1 gram nugget of 2 different kinds of top shelf buds with terp sauce and top shelf kief and somehow it seemed like it had absorbed the terp sauce inside it too. I can't rember, but I think the two types of buds may have been ground up, covered in sauce, then stuck back together as one bud before being covered in kief. IDK, tasted F'n amazing though, smoked taking single individually packed hits of it in a bowl with a torch lighter of course (the same way bubble hash should be smoked).

I think its way more cost effective and more fun overall to just add some concentrate to a bowl and smoke it. You have 80 bucks buy a 1/8th and a gram of whatever wax you can afford rather than an 80 dollar 1 gram moon rock/ sun rock. ( I know they are prob cheaper than 80 but taxes n stuff).

The only way I've used moon rocks and felt like I wasn't being ridiculous was with small homemade ones put into my volcano whole but even that would be better off being loose little bits than a whole small bud. It's called caviar because like caviar it's just a way to show off your money.

i usually jus take my homegrown and jus wipe the buds in some live rosin n put diamonds ontop but at the end of the day like u said id rather jus smoke it sep...or roll a blunt or cone n put rosin on the outside....n icewater hash or diamonds in it....but a banger will always be better...

I will agree that both moon rocks and sun rocks are way better just split into their seperate components and consumed individually. If you happen upon some though I do think that mixing flower with it is the way to go though. Although I agree with you that lowering the thc is dumb defeats the purpose, but the temperature and process all three of the components are consumed in are much different. I like look at them as something small to accent a blunt or a bowl though. Put it at the end or the middle not up first though and let it add to it. Otherwise dont waste good products that are meant to be consumed individually in different ways. They are still cool but it takes knowledge to use them properly and not waste them imo.

a gram of hash and a gram of wax mashed together is my favourite way to smoke dabs, pack full bowl then you just poke a hole through the middle with a needle or paper clip

I just found out about "Moon rocks" yesterday. I spent lastnight formulating how I would make them and now I hear about "sun rocks". I can't smoke anything cause my job/career does urinalysis. In fact I took one 2 weeks ago. I was going to make moon rocks as gifts for family. Problem is I'm in Up state New York and recreational doesn't have established store fronts so supplies are limited.

I use to hunt weed all weekend just to find dirt weed and now they have all this amazing legal weed and I can't partake even a little bit. I use to live in Kingston, Jamaica as a teenager. I've been to Amsterdam and I went to Colorado about 10 years ago. I have touched anything in 8 years or more. I'll probably die doing this job but it's for a better cause than myself. BUT IT SURE WOULD BE NICE, LOL

I always herd sun rocks were like nugs injected in a liquid wax covered in shatter while it's warm an then rolled in top self keif an hash balls an then cooled down so it's semi hard an gooey in the center

Homemade is the way to go. If you smoke top tier flower and have a grinder you always have 2 out of 3 ingredients at all times.

I'm shocked moon rocks are made so shitty in CO. I've never had bunk moon rocks here in CA, and I've bought a $25 Gram before.. lol the trick is to hit it with the dab torch. Single hits, fire up with the torch. Takes a toll on the lungs but when you stop coughing, you're in the stratosphere..
