Might simply be a cultural thing. In my country (Switzerland) it's quite weird - even disrepectful in some cases - to go crazy and scream during performances. You wait for the end to show your appreciation. It's a way of showing respect for others and for the musician's work by not covering his art with your screams.

What do you expect from norge? Cold ppl. Best crowd in the world are Argentines. Every band that played there will concour. But you have to give credit to norges, their ability to stand still and not move at all to music like that is amazing! Most of the music that comes from Norway is so depressing... And majority of their metal bands are FAKE. They sing of satanism and some other disgusting subjects but in real life they're all good boys, going to church every sunday and listening to their mothers like all good kids do.
