This year marks a full decade since I saw Moon Hooch live for the first time, dating way back to them opening for They Might Be Giants at the Paradise in Boston in 2013. Every time I bring a friend to see Moon Hooch for the first time they're blown away, and recordings truly don't do the live experience justice - glad you had fun tonight, Josh. Even this live ambient recording (which in my opinion looks okay and sounds pretty good) doesn't capture the full feeling of being in the room.
That's a lot of words to say, go see Moon Hooch live! You won't be disappointed.
Huge thank you to Michael Wilbur for getting back to my random email and to the band for being cool with me recording - the request is definitely a little bit out of the ordinary when you venture outside the insular jam band bubble where taping is more cultural.

Thank you! Believe it or not, the audio recording is just a pair of mics that I mount on top of my camera (more info on all of that in the video description). I’m always shocked at how actually good things sound. Thanks for watching!

I want to buy the album that Give Yourself Love is on. Anyone know what album that is on. Simply amazing! Love you guys, thank you for the great music. My wife and I have concerts in our cabin nightly with these videos! ❤
