4:09 is so so true. Since I was a little girl, I struggled really hard to have true friendships. I really love to be surrounded by people, I long to know more about them, but I find it to difficult to make genuine bond. My relationships with people is just acquaintances or sympathy. It has never been friendship. It makes me a little bit sad. And you are also true about the relationship with the mother. She is always cold and hurtful to me and doesn’t give a d*mn about my emotions. She laughs when I show my emotions…

Saturn/moon aspect i think also makes a person self critical of their own thoughts. I have this opposition and i am self critical. Also is the relationship with mother meant to be karmic in a way, which brings negativity, coldness and bickering in the relationship.

So true...even when I try and express how I feel to my mother, she just shuts off or brush it off or says it's not importnat. No validation and no comfort. Only coldness and strickness. I kind of grew apart from her. Which is a shame.

hey i would like to differ on one thing, having the same aspect i actually believe in astrology and my mother is an astrologer herself, but yes i do dream about a day when someone proves astrology is a science in this modern day world. Having said that everything else is true and i totally enjoy this aspect because it always take me out of tough situations by looking the core reality in them and acting as required. Plus i feel melancholic without a disciplined way of living. Thank you for sharing this. :)

Very good explanation. Being a natal Moon opposite Saturn person myself (1 degree orb), I have to say when you started talking about public speaking @ 9:40, I said to myself that your description was not totally true. Fear of public speaking is heightened with this aspect yes, though it can also denote a person, comfortable speaking to groups of people/large crowds, who focuses the critical attitude or fear more AGAINST themselves. I have a lot of Leo and Virgo in my chart so speaking to groups or in front of people about a topics that I am well read in doesn't bother me, but inside I am always critiquing my performance. Over time you lose the fear of what others might say about you, but the self critical nature is much harder to shake.

Me also having fifth house capricorn moon and 11th house cancer satrun. Married and have kids.

Damn as a mother of a 12 yr old boy who has this placement, it kinda feels like a like in the throat.. but thankful none the less .. i am grateful Saturn isn't looking at him, but his mind-- let's not limit this bud, no pressure 😎

My moon in capricorn (11th house) is sqaured by saturn and jupiter (both in conjunction) in libra (7th house). I can say this is one of the worst aspects ever, it freezes your emotions and makes you feel hopeless. Inability to analyze your own emotions and know what you need, like you're completely out of touch with your emotions . Inability to form intimate relationships. A lot of health problems as well.

Hi Kapiel, just wanted to check if debilitation in navamsha chart can be cancelled in some way. I have Saturn in Taurus, Moon in Scorpio , Capricorn Ascendant. It's not that I was given zero emotional nourishment. It just that she showed me reality of every relationship and aspect of this life early. I can't say no to my mother till date. She was really practical, disciplined and honest person. She used to protect me from bullies my physically abusive father and emotionally abusive sibling and paternal relatives , proud when I won the 1st prize at the age of 8 , like that person still can't stand if anybody try to harass or look down on me. But somehow I can't share my emotional turmoil ,trauma since she's dealing with million of things at single time related to ancestral house issues and my siblings too, so I can't just bother her.

I have both moon and sun sitting in 6th house Capricorn and Saturn in 12th house Cancer. Father died when I was young. Mother and I were not close and she passed away in my twenties. Not good with emotions but forced to deal with them. Not good at relationships because I don't feel close to anyone. BUT have learned to do it all on my own. Saturn is everywhere in my chart. So..not so much looking for a mature mate. It's more like.. I have to create my own stability. I have to be the mature one. I have to be the solid rock. And.. don't trust anyone else to be a backbone. I can handle pressure that would break others. Hope this helps you.

I agree with many things you said, but I've an excelent relationship with my mother. My mother is pure nourishment. Her Moon is in Pushya. But my father...he has depression and obsessive - compulsive disorder. Many times he had crisis...it's difficult relate to him. Sometimes looks I am his mother, not his daughter. I also love speak in public (I've Rahu, Mercury and Venus in the 5th house). Moon is in the 9th house in Gemini (Punarvasu) and Saturn is placed in the 3rd house in Sagittarius (Purva Ashadha). Oh wow this is me 4:50 my son have Pisces moon in the first house opposite Saturn in Virgo 7th house and i did have to “boss up” after the divorce. I didn’t know the divorces effected my son until he was 7. His dad and i when he was 4. Yes, but the aspect will not be that felt one because Moon and Shani are in quite good position in your chart and because of the degrees. Depending of the house too

My poor moon is sandwiched between mars and chiron (10) opposite Saturn Ans Uranus (4). Good luck detangling this planet party! Mother was/is emotionally unavailable. Very hard time showing nurturing warmth. Has been depressed, on edge, sad her whole life due to her narcissistic father and then married to my diffucult father etc etc. Yes she is disciplined, I grew up with rules etc but it was great having structures. Her emotional unavalableness was the issue. And yes as an adult now couple of years after my saturn return. I want a partner who has his shit together! Someone who has gone through stuff in life that made him grow, be self aware and emotionally mature. Not older per say but mature and secure.
