The long days of summer are behind us as we face the harsh cold winter ahead. Luckily, we have the Moog Matriarch around to comfort us with her warm analog sound. Kraft Music's very own Adam Berzowski harnesses the power of four voices on the Moog Matriarch!
The Moog Matriarch is a patchable 4-note paraphonic analog synthesizer with a built-in sequencer, arpeggiator, stereo ladder filters, and stereo analog delay. Based on the vintage circuitry of classic Moog synthesizer modules, the Matriarch can create rich harmonic shapes with its four notes of paraphony or massive, 4-oscillator monosynth textures by stacking the VCOs. With 90 modular patch points, the Matriarch is also an ideal processor of external sound sources and a powerful keyboard frontend for expanding eurorack modular systems and other Moog semi-modular synths.
Looking for a bundle? Please contact us for a great deal on a custom Moog Matriarch package. Our knowledgeable Sales Advisors are happy to assist with finding the solution that's right for you!

I don’t care about presets. I go to a synthesizer like an oracle, wanting to hear what it gives me that visit, that moment. That’s what I love about them. I can’t retrace my steps, after an hour I don’t know how I got where I am, but it’s great.

@@nicolemassie576 that's what he means. But that's not how this is designed. Eye see Moog as science and nature. You just gotta get in it, learn with, live with it, love with it, f it sometimes and in that relationship's experience you will both will grow. Eye feel these menus will take away from the experience Moog created with this instrument. And there's subsequent 37s for that

I'm a GAS-er/serial gear swapper and the Matriarch has remained in my arsenal for over a year, with no plans for its departure. Does not do everything. I use my Eurorack for industrial jams and weird wavetables. I don't always want a ladder filter (bonus - w/ the patch points, I can use a different filter !). Presets can be handy. Anything else can pretty much be done in a DAW w/ a MIDI controller and a VST. But when you want to have that experience of just sitting down at the keys, hitting a switch, and going somewhere with an instrument, this has been the lowest friction, most incredible unit I've ever owned. I would not trade it for an instrument 5x the price.

There is nothing wrong with your speakers. Do not attempt to adjust the sound. We are controlling modulation. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will attenuate it to a whisper. We will control the waveforms. We will control the filters. We can add feedback, make it flutter. We can smooth the filter to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal resonance. For the next 9.4167 minutes, sit quietly and we will control all that you hear. Nice demo and performance.

Love my Moog Matriarch. It is a bit complex to dial in sounds, but the 90 patch points provide a lot of signal routing possibilites. Seems very modulated in normalized mode, and I struggle to get rid of modulations to have a clean, simple tone. But I love the retro module sounds on this. Sequencer is super easy to use, plus it has ratchets, ties, and rests.

Eye spent months on KZread watching people play, taking screenshots of sounds Eye loved. Finally found some good tones with a mixture of messing with the global parameters (again from some suggestions from KZreadrs and what also what Eye needed). But after months Eye'm learning to work it the way that sounds pleasing to me. Peaceful journey!

Hey does everyone who like me owns a matriarch and loves it but is totally pissed off about the global commands 46 of them hidden in the keys. An iOS editor should have been released on day one . Not even the thru port works correctly at this point without digging in the hideous mine field Moog creative team handed us . There is no excuse for this short coming. It’s ridiculous. And everyone I know feels like this except the Moog tech team who can probably memorize the Bible too after one reading. They simply don’t consider the Everyday user . Their sales would triple if they weren’t so self absorbed.....Peace Christo 🎶👽☮️🐕🛸
