Daemon acts so fearlessly, so fiercely like a dragon, but look at him singing to Vermithor. He /knows/ this dragon, it was his grandfather's, and this dragon knows Daemon, and Daemon is absolutely afraid. He isn't a coward, trembling and sweating, but /not/ being afraid here would be insanely stupid and foolish, even for him. Vermithor is the Bronze Fury, and the second biggest dragon of this era. He was known for his sheer ferocity and legendary prowess. If Vhaegar was to have an equal, Vermithor is the only possible contender. Can't wait to see him take flight. Edit: typo'd Daemon's father instead of grandfather. Thanks for pointing it out so politely!

Mostly true... Vermithor was Jaehaerys' Dragon, not Daemon's father. Daemon's father, Baelon, rode Vhagar. Making Vermithor Daemon's GRANDFATHER'S Dragon So yeah, size order; Vhagar Vermithor Caraxes

Everyone knows Balerion, Vhagar and Meraxes were the ultimate power triad. But Vermithor, Caraxes and Vhagar would have been very impressive in their time.

Definitely Vermithor would give Vhagar a run for their scales, the Bronze Fury was considered to be a possible match for Balerion during the troubles with Maegor the Cruel. We never got that cause Jahaerys was smart enough to never risk his best asset like that and always denied Maegor that battle, he might’ve won he might’ve lost either way losing that single contest would end the war even if Jahaerys himself survived, it was simply the better strategy and Jahaerys knew it.

The dragon could tell Daemond was worthy that's the only reason he wasn't toast. It had nothing to do with fear. Can we be one. Strength

Most of the dragons in this show are bigger then season 8 Drogon . Only Shrykos , Morghul , Vermax , Tyraxes , Moondancer , Morning , Stormcloud are smaller then season 8 Drogon

Sad fact: *spoilers* in the books, caraxes and Vhagar fight to the death. Caraxes manages to beat Vhagar but is so wounded it died shortly after from the wounds
