Love this!! My husband and I have a marriage journal we write in together on our anniversary. We do the same as Brady, we reflect on the year, special moments, things we want or need to work on, what we’re looking forward to. It’s so fun and I can’t wait for our daughter to read it one day

Just discovered ur Channel . I notice in your anniversary clip things looked familiar . You guys visited my Hometown of Lincoln. You guys should make a trip up around December. They have carriage rides around our square and lots of fun shops to explore . Thank you for book recommendations. I will check them out. For ur friend that likes thrillers . Just a thought. If you didn't like Butcher & Blackbird, you will NOT like Leather & Lark. There is not a ton of spice but the sex is more graphic and the violence is also. Read the trigger warnings before reading or buying. I didn't mind either book, but I run different type of book clubs so I have to keep an open mind. I just wanted to share that with you, not discourage you or anyone else. Love your videos and can't wait to see what you need to read next!

@@ShawnaciSchroeder UPDATE! found out to request other books we have to submit a request for review of the catalogue & the the board decides if the catalogue is lacking or not. (Quite part out loud - depending what this board is looking like inclusion & modernization of the selection/catalogue is going to be hard to come by 😩 ) One branch manager also told me, however unsubtly, that I could always visit branches in more “urban” areas of the county to find what I’m looking for. Which was odd considering I never stated that I was specifically looking for “urban” books…Then she followed it up by saying “ultimately the selections depends on what’s approved as well as what publishers offer because maintaining a catalogue can be very expensive.” PAUSE - we all know publishers historically drop the ball on [insert known foolishness here] 😒 So after I boiled internally for a little bit I’ve added this as yet another to-do mission on my personal social worker list of social/community problems to attack. At some point I’ll call on the online book community to organize bc this really speaks to a larger systemic issue of allowing access to books that are representative & meaningful to an ever change society/community. This concludes my angry social worker rant. Thank you for ur time 😝😂
