Montreal walking tour in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is an on-island suburb located at the western tip of the Island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is the second oldest community in Montreal's West Island, having been founded as a parish in 1703. The oldest, Dorval, was founded in 1667.

I loved living in Ste Anne's in 1973 when I was in college there... a beautiful campus... and again for a couple of years in 2012. I had the second floor overlooking the boardwalk above the pizza place that seems to have closed after many years of serving the community with the best pizzas. The village was so beautiful and the people living there and store/ restaurant owners were so great. I miss living there. Le sigh.

When I visited Montreal three years ago, I drove. I was coming from Toronto Ontario so I passed this suburb on Highway 20
German.....enjoyed this walk......haven't been there for a long time....very comprehensive tour.....you didn't show the boardwalk along the water (maybe you showed on another video that I didn't see)....we loved eating in the restaurants overlooking the water. We also loved going into the Daoust store which you passed at 7:51....it's a very old style department store. Thank you for posting this video.

I worked here as a public works labourer from may 2021 to may 2022. I took care of the cleanliness of the old part of town including the boardwalk. I encountered many strange and disturbed individuals. Mental illness is a huge problem in st Anne. Also the people that dock their boats were absolutely filthy and inconsiderate of others. As a whole the town is aesthetically below subpar. Nothing inspirational or outstanding about it. The only beautiful building was the public works building on st Anne street just across Godin park. The employees and Foreman were also hardworking and kind. I wish them well.
