I always go to Jean Talon on my way out of town. Loading up on baked goods, smoked fish, and goat cheese.
I am so homesick for montreal. 1980s man... best decade, best city in the world.

Aww and for me the 90s when I was a kid was the best with my two older brothers as the youngest girl. Grew up near Toronto!

Thanks for including us! You even made it look like we were shopping at the same time as @Viva Frei

Great! Visiting Montreal in two days :) thanks for sharing
Great Video something to look forward to visit and enjoy after the Payday and afterwork.
I always make a point to visit Jean Talon market when I'm in the city
Comme toujours, excellent montage. 👌
In Melbourne, Australia, we have Queen Victoria Market. Said to be the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. It's currently undergoing renovations with the food hall. But the Marché Jean-Talon certainly puts our market to shame (even though it's not my favourite, mine is South Melbourne Market).
Loving these videos! Although I was born in Montreal my family moved to Toronto when I was 6 years old... I’m seeing so many things now that I never got to experience!

What a great market! I love going there!
What an entertaining video. Bravo!
Great video, so excited to go there
Last time I was there I found leeks the size of baseball bats and shallots the size of lemons.
Awesome! I love these videos. I'm moving there in the spring, this helps with the "homesickness" Thanks for putting these together!

Keep up the great work 👍
When i was young, my parents use to go there every weekend because it was cheaper as it from the farmers directly. It was basic and local food only. At that time, you see a lot of immigrants families shopping there. Today it become more like a tourist place and fancy foodies place.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
If I won the lottery, I would buy a condo near Jean Talon and eat there everyday

I love Montreal, I love Jean-Talon market, but North America INCLUDES Mexico... therefor the biggest market of North America is the Central de Abastos in Mexico City.

Yeah. NAFTA. North American Trade Agreement. Mexico, Canada, USA
I used to go there with my mother back in 90s to mid 2000s when Sami Fruits had their first store there. Then over the time it started loosing the essence what made it affordable to low income shoppers, when it started to become more of a "Frenchy place" with the rest of the Plateau area.
