Would be neat if they could get Martin Necas, but the Canadiens cannot afford him. Though I appreciate the effort to think about him. Thank you for being such great hosts.

Hughes is known to fleece other GMs! But he has to be clear on this one! Getting Necas won’t be as a result of any fleece! He’s going to have to give up something good to get something good! Something that each team needs… plain and simple! Make it happen Hughes!
The Canes owner is still sore over the aho offersheet. On top of that his revenge backfired big time with his kk disaster. He is not trading Necas to our Habs unless we grossly overpay and thats not happening with Hughes.

Why would we give up a future 50 point damn for a forward whose gone over 60 points once this is illogical if the deal doesn't include mailloux guhle Hutson rienbacher it starts making a bit more sense

Peace and Skjei will be leaving and subtract Necas……then Mathesons contract is easy for them at 4.6
Just tell me why someone would want to play for Montreal? They could have had the best coaches in the world, but "desoler" sorry if you don't speak French. The team says they are on a rebuild, so start by foundation pillars, not Pee-wee heros. I mean it's a fckn soap opera in Montreal. I miss the Nordiques
the problem is that no player wants to play in Montreal. In Quebec, you can't send your kids to English schools, can't use English signs, can't get English service in public etc. Montreal has become some backwater, unsophisticated failed state
